Vegas walking can prepare you for WDW

I go to vegas a lot. Flights are $50. and I'm a bally's member so rooms are $50-$75. Its very affordable. But yeah, we do a ton of walking in vegas. Miracle mile, casino to casino, fremont street. I could go to vegas a dozen times and it still doesn't equal the cost of one wdw trip. But I'm not...

    Toppings Bars?

There was a member, forget the name, but he had a thread about doing disney on the cheap and his big thing was making salads at topping bars for free. He even posted recipes for salad dressings made from the condiments. Yes its gross but you have to give him props for his ingenuity.

    Restaurants for the non-Disneyphile/Foodie

I really enjoyed Tiffins. I tried the octopus which was out of my wheel house but it was very good and the pictures of me eating it were worth the price of admission.

    Special dining requirements question

As a body builder who lives out of a blender, let me assure you that not all foods translate well to being ground to a pulp. I would aim more towards protein shakes and smoothies.

For Fellow Impatient Travelers: Tips So You'll Never Be "That Guy!" When You Fly

My wife is a saint. That guy and his wife brought their 3 kids on the flight. A flight to WDW with kids on it!? Well that guy parked all 3 kids in the row behind us and then sat in the row behind them. Within moments it was the footsie frenzy on my backside. It seemed like all 3 were aiming for...

    Tiffins

I loved the octopus. Definately out of my wheel house but loved it none the less. My rib eye was tasty too BUT the bread, the ciabatta with the pomegranate glaze tasted like a hippy's well used birkenstock! I was going to say something to the waitress, who was great btw, but everyone around us...

Do you want to be paid to be a Stromtrooper? Disneyland will have a Casting Call Friday, May 24th

I read that the studios used the 501st for extras while filming The Mandalorian. It would seem easy enough to tap them. I'm sure there is a boatload of them in the L.A. area.

    Coral Reef Restaurant Opinions

The tables are indeed against the glass. The problem is children in a theme park setting have no boundary limits as everything is seen as a free-for-all to them. So yeah we had kids behind us, under us and when I came back from the bathroom, in my seat even lol.

    Coral Reef Restaurant Opinions

Last time I ate there the food was good but, we were seated tank side and were constantly interrupted by stray kids trying to get between us and the tank. People, control your kids!

Any foods NOT at WDW that you wish were offered somewhere on premises???

A couple trips back there was a stand in front of the China pavillion that had a mongolian beef sandwich. Which was of course mongolian beef, onions, sauce on a bau bun. Somehow everyday I made my way back there and haven't seen it since. While neither regional or authentic, holy moly it was good!

    I don't need the fries

At Weinerschnitzel if you order 3 chili dogs its 6-something yet if you order 5 its 5 bucks. I go for the deal and make a couple co-workers happy. Just pay it forward. Minimum wagers aren't paid to think.
