I enjoy them. I read the menu so I know what I'm getting. Yes, some have been one bite and trash it but others have been really good and I've got a second one. DCA can be limited in its lunch appeal and the food booths simply give you more choices.
I've stayed at both resorts. WL is pretty far out there. I'd add 15 minutes to any bus ride compared to the Cont. Cont. walk to the MK is awesome. The monorail station in the hotel is awesome. The food choices are awesome. Need I add any more awesome lol
Steak from STK. Great steak. Was not prepared for the loud disco club atmosphere. That being said, I would go back, just earlier before it turns into a nightclub.
I wasn't to keen on the Brown Derby. We had lunch. I had the chicken sandwich. It was dry and not too tasty. I felt the restaurants open concept was really loud and hard to have a conversation. And even though we had reservations it still took a half hour to be seated.
Ha! I'm the exact opposite. West coaster, grew up on DL. Was at opening day of DCA. Passholder, yadda yadda. But, went to WDW first time when in college and was blown away by the sheer size of it. So while we do DL trips often I always look forward to the almost annual WDW trip.
I've had the $25. burger at Carthay Circle. First time I had it, it was the best burger ever. Second time I had it, not so much. lol. If there was one truth about Disney, they have no shame in taking your money.
When we were at Morimoto I noticed they have a sushi bar upstairs. I can't wait for my next visit to try it because everything Morimoto does is excellent!
The restaurants are all really crowded for breakfast. We were never around for lunch but we did stop by every night for dessert and it was virtually empty.
Oh maybe because every person in Fantasyland has their camera out and especially since there's usually a line to get your picture taken trying to pull the sword.
