    Prices up…profits down…

Not true. Just a few years ago in 2019, I crunched the numbers and bought my first (and only) annual pass, as I was attending an educators conference in summer 2019, plus had a family trip planned for February 2020. I ultimately saved about $500 from ticket discount, food and merch discounts...

It was considered in the past, in the immediate aftermath of Walt’s death….long before Disney Renaissance and blossoming into the juggernaut corporation it is today.

I do not understand how you could come to this conclusion. Disney theme parks have been the #1 part of their brand identity since 1955. Even their various castle logos are essentially subtle advertising for the parks.

Well, when you spend millions upon millions to build a Star Wars LARP hotel only to shut it down, a new Epcot fireworks show that people don’t like but is so big that its permanently anchored in the lagoon only to demolish it, and then demolish Comminicore’s southwest annex only to say “Whoops”...

Why I like Monsters Inc Coaster and Muppet's Rock n' Roller Coaster

I’ve always wanted them to replace the Indy stunt show with a “Fire In the Hole”-style dark ride/water coaster inspired by the duck boat chase from ‘Crystal Skull’. Weird CGI monkeys aside, that was easily my favorite part of the movie.

Why I like Monsters Inc Coaster and Muppet's Rock n' Roller Coaster

Congrats, I think you spent more brain power in your ideas than the entirely of the Bob Iger Company (formerly known as Di$$$ney) put together. That being said…I personally think they should build “Roger Rabbit’s Hollywood”, as a new Toontown area, featuring a permanent Oswald meet and greet...

    Celebrating Jim Henson’s Muppet*Vision 3-D

It’s really painful that WDW didn’t reimagine DHS into a park where each studio either in partnership with or under the Disney umbrella would have a dedicated Land. I thought that’s where they were going when they created “Pixar Place” and started having Frozone, Edna Mode, and Sully meeting...

Fun fact: Dave Goelz, seen here performing Kermit, is also the current voice of Figment. Say what you will about the current incarnation of JII, I actually don’t mind Goelz as a replacement for Billy Barty.

Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

Aye. GotG’s virtual queue was just to get inside the building. You still have an hour wait from that point. A virtual queue to join an actual queue where you stand looking blankly at models of a planet that doesn’t exist. Which in turn is just a queue for the first preshow scene, which in...

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance vs The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

Tower of Terror wins because the story is delivered much more concisely with a smaller footprint. It doesn’t need three queues perforated by elaborate preshows explaining the story like RotR. Ultimately, RotR is just plain tedious. By the time I got to the stormtrooper room, I was ready to...
