Norway Pavilion Frozen construction - Frozen Ever After ride (Part 2)

We almost had a disasterous experience visiting Mickey and Minnie at Toon Town Fair. We were coming out of our meet and greet at the same time as someone else. Something was way off in timing as we left from seeing Mickey and Minnie and were suddenly able to look into a door and see another...

WDW to Raise All Buffet Prices By Almost 50%?

Wow, we've had to wait quite awhile for all characters to come around, but not that long. If you'd said something to your server I think they would have made the others happen for you.

WDW to Raise All Buffet Prices By Almost 50%?

If a buffet like Trails End goes to $59.99 it is doubling in price. We just ate there in January for $29.99. Maybe that was with a 10% discount, I can't remember. There is NO WAY Trails end is worth $29.99 when I can get the same food at Golden Coral for $15-$20, but it most certainly isn't...

WDW to Raise All Buffet Prices By Almost 50%?

I don't think all buffets will be 2 credits or jump 50% in price. I do think the most popular character buffets will. I think you'll see Chef Mickey's, Askershus, and maybe a couple of others increase substantially - but not all and certainly not "basic" buffets such as Wave or Trails End.

    Buffets now $60!!??

You can tell the desserts are the lesser cost to Disney as otherwise there's no reason not to allow you the choice of an appetizer or dessert. If you have a table of 4, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to get 2 apps and 2 desserts to share leveraging the dining plan. But anyway, I still...

    Buffets now $60!!??

If they'd put the tip back into the DDP then it would be truly ease of use. But without it, I still have to have the means to pay the tip, either via credit card, magic band, cash, etc. It doesn't take away the requirement of "cash flow" (yes lessens it significantly) or the process of paying...

    Magic Kingdom 50th Anniversary Plans

I can't tell you how many times I've looked at something to buy, liked the front and then looked at the back... It all of a sudden looks like a Vegas Showgirl used it to clean the make-up off her face...

    Buffets now $60!!??

Don't worry, I think the 2017 version will have a few more at 2.

    Buffets now $60!!??

Yea, I don't think this was a mistake as much as a slip of a keystroke. I think it's inevitable that Askershus and Chef Mickey's go to 2 credits along with a new higher price point. It appears Tusker House as well, I didn't htink that one was worth it, but that's just me. I can say that...

Is Rock 'n' Roller Coaster changing its theme soon?

Even more likely, it will be a Disney property as well. Whatever the current iteration of Selema Gomez is, so they don't have to pay the licensing fees. It will probably just be Radio Disney themed.

    Magic Kingdom 50th Anniversary Plans

Why must they throw up on all of their merchandise and over logo/design? I mean it saves me money as I don't buy it, but still.

Tomorrowland Terrace is open with a new menu

Definitely miss the Noodle Station. But, of course I'm very happy to be able to get a hamburger, chicken fingers, or pizza without having ever walk more than 150ft ever.

Ample Hills Creamery - Creator of the Star Wars Ice Cream coming to Disney's BoardWalk?

Taking over the ESPN Arcade, I think we all knew that a long time ago. I'm ok with a bit longer walk to get my ice cream. Or shorter since I went to Beaches and Cream more often than not.

It costs them money instead of collecting rent.

    Iger mentions plans for EPCOT

I fully expect that WDW will be in the best shape it's been since open by 2021. If DL is an example in 2005, they'll want to have the place looking sharp for MK's 50th. It looks like most things will be done between 2016-2019 at the other parks. That leaves Epcot and a few years. I think...

Disney Survey on implementing a $15 resort fee

It won't be optional. Based on what "may" be included, it would be hard for it to be even if they let it be.
