    News Halloween Screams Returns!

I enjoy Halloween Screams more than Hallowishes because of some of the elements added and the story with Jack & Zero vs a narrator. I like that they changed it around some :)

Damage Control PR Spin for Star Wars Begins

This article is an interesting read...it makes a little more sense of the crowds. I talked with my friend who went during the initial reservation period- she said the people she knew and talked to loved it because they didn't have to wait in crazy lines. Maybe this was one of the smartest things...

Damage Control PR Spin for Star Wars Begins

I love SW. I was counting down the days until it opened. When they announced only the one attraction would open, I didn't care to get to the parks quickly- I am not a fan of simulators and the thought of flying the Falcon has never crossed my mind. After listening to a lot of my friends with it...

    MSEP Returns

So i'm torn. I grew up watching World of Disney on Sunday evenings. It always opened with quick snips of the floats. In 2007 I saw it for the first time at DCA. I was excited, but knew something was missing. Fast-forward to WDW's limited time engagement of 650 years with the parade. It was still...

News Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Disneyland opening reports/reviews

It could, especially during D23 in August. I have 1 free day in August (the Saturday of D23). We wanted to do the parks but refused to pay $150. With the deal announced, we are going to go. $100 seems manageable, but $150 for DL for a day is nonsense to me.

    The Star of the Matterhorn

I was really excited when I read the rumor of the 60th and then it never happened. Growing up I always wanted to see it. I hope one day they do it (i'm not holding my breath).

Things You Have Never Done But Always Wanted To Do At Disneyland

The only 2 attractions (or shows) we had not done were the Sailing Ship Columbia and the Canoes. In a rare event, both were running during our trip last month. I screamed a little when I saw the canoes going- we stopped what we were doing to head towards them. It was actually very fun!

News "Happy Haul-O-Ween from Cars Land" album released

well this is fun! Like others, I wish there were other albums/tracks released (Paint the Night, an updated Disneyland album with Luigi's regular tunes)

News Paradise Pier Becoming Pixar Pier

We visited Pixar Pier for the first time this past week and weekend... The line for Incredicoaster was so much longer than I expected (I never waited- I just got a fastpass that was for 5 minutes later). I wish I had been able to go on it at night when it seems the idea of the ride is much more...

PizzeRizzo Closing or Receiving Menu Changes?

I loved the decor/theme of the restaurant, and occasionally like the theme park style pizza. I hope if it's a menu change, they don't go to the $8/slice pizza that is at Disneyland (Pizza Planet). That pizza did not look appetizing and was far too expensive compared to the round pizzas (still...

Poll: Disneyland has outgrown Sleeping Beauty Castle

I'll admit the first time I went to DL, I rounded the corner and said "that's it"? After visiting and doing research, I have a great appreciation for the size, style and look. Yes, it's small, but I think there is a big meaning to the fact this is Walt's castle and the only one in the world...

    Tomorrowland Murals painted black?

Wow! That's a pretty nice hotel. I wish I would have decided to stay cheaper in May to get a better room. The resort we stayed at wasn't very themed (lobby) and the rooms certainly were not- they were the worst rooms we have stayed in for any Disney property over the last 20 years (and cost a...

The Haunted Mansion Needs to Stay

I had no idea this was from Phantom Manor! I just returned from Paris where sadly the ride was closed. I will always know this as Haunted Mansion Holiday music, but now it appears i'm incorrect :)

Matterhorn and Pinocchio getting refurbished starting July 30th, 2018

According to DL's website, during my visit in September (19-23), it only shows Tiki Room, Mark Twain and Matterhorn down- it doesn't show Pinocchio. Can anyone confirm if we can expect Pinocchio to be down at that time?

    World Of Color Refurbishment

Looking at dining reservations, it's running nightly through most of September so far. It seems to have taken the place of World of Color, at least until it's up again...
