If you were there right now.....

2 months from now it'll be the night before we leave and I'll probably be trying to fall asleep, but I'll be too excited to. :sohappy:

    Disney Cruise Lines

Possibly WAY, WAY down the road. They just announced their European cruises for summer 2010 and then I believe there were rumours for Alaskan cruises when their new ships were done. I was unbelievably excited to see the intinerary for the 'special cruises' until I saw the price tag for the 12...

    Best value resort??

It's been YEARS since I've stayed at the All Stars so I don't know if my review is fair, but I'd definetly have to say POP. It just seemed cleaner, nicer and the bus service was much, much better.

    Fav World Showcase Spirits

I'd like to hear everyone's favorites, but trying something exotic or something not easy to come by in the states is a bonus. I do enjoy the occasional beer now and then. I've never had Carlsberg, and one of the guidebooks says that Le Cellier is the only restaurant in the U.S. with Moosehead...

    Fav World Showcase Spirits

Thanks for letting it slide. I agree that the Margarita's aren't good. I wonder if the ones at the San Angel Inn are better. I'm assuming they would actually make them from scratch in there instead of the huge processed machine. I saw Samantha Brown with the Grand Marnier slush...

    Fav World Showcase Spirits

I'm a lightweight, so I can only handle a few drinks. I'd like to try something new and was wondering what everyone's absolute favorite drinks are around the World Showcase. So far all I have under my belt is a Margarita from the stand outside of Mexico and a small glass of wine from France...

    Mickey for President

Plus he's not much of a public speaker. Everytime I meet him at Disneyworld, he clams up and won't talk to me.

    Don't Give up Hope (ADR)

I just wanted to give some encouragement to anyone else who is having trouble getting the ADR's they want. We booked our trip in September for this December and I couldn't get a reservation for Le Cellier for the entire time we are there and I got a ressie at Calif Grill, but it was for a...

    Not going w/ mother-in-law again

That's terrible. Your MIL sounds like a real piece of work. I'm getting married in less than 2 weeks and you just reminded me how lucky I am to have a future-MIL who is the exact opposite of what you are describing. I would advise against any future trips with her if you can avoid it. :hammer:

    Best Breakfast in the World

MMMMM. I'm getting so hungry for breakfast. Whispering Canyon sounds like a good bet. I L-O-V-E the WL at Christmastime. I was also thinking Boatwrights because it would be convenient since we are staying at POFQ. I read about their french toast. Maybe I'll get the French Toast there and...

    Best Breakfast in the World

Ok. The past few times I've been to WDW, I've slept in. This time, I think we might get up early a few days and just wondering where the best breakfast is. We have an ADR at the Kona Cafe, but wouldn't mind hearing a few other opinions... Thanks in advance!!!

    Decision Time (almost)

Def Tokyo! If you can swing it that would be a once in a lifetime opportunity.

    Free Dining: Oct., Nov., Dec!

I'm thinking they must really want people to come during these promo periods. I got the e-mail offer in early Sept and just got a reminder not to miss out on this offer.

    Disney 2010

We are honeymooning in December (future-hubbies first trip :sohappy:). I'm thinking we will probably skip a trip next year and hopefully visit again in 2010. Hopefully they'll extend the promo and we can go for my 30th birthday, and if we are lucky we'll have a new disney fan to take with...

    MLK and Marathon

It's been a few years for me, but I have attended for both weekends and found the Marathon weekend to be less crowded than MLK. I know for myself, I was so sore from the 1/2 marathon, that it was painful to walk through the parks!!!

    Disney in April?

I was there late April in 2007, and it wasn't crowded at all and the weather was beautiful. It may depend on when Easter falls next year...

    Ice Cream Question

I am so jealous of you southerners. I am an icecream fanatic and we don't get Bluebell up here in the Northeast. Edy's is what is usually on sale and it doesn't even taste close to an icecream cone walking down Mainstreet USA.

    Honeymoon help

Ha! I've never heard of a conceptionmoon. We will be honeymooning this December. We chose Port Orleans French Quarter due to budget constraints, but had money not been a factor, we'd have chosen the Yacht Club so we'd have access to a lot of the restaurants we want to try and the easy access...

DH can't find our AAA card...

I work for AAA and as far as I know, there are no discounts for annual passes for AAA members. I believe you can still purchase discounted Magic Your Way base tickets at most local offices (call ahead to be certain) and you should be able to purchase them at www.AAA.com. To purchase online...

Need help Polynesian vs. Beach Club

I have to agree with the consensus. If you have young children and will be spending most of your time at the MK do the Poly. If not, I'd say BC. You have the awesome pool there and easy access to Epcot. I don't think you could go wrong with either one though.
