Another Question About Baby Swap... I have an additional question about the baby swap... We'll be going with our 9 month old and meeting up some days with my sister and her husband who will be taking their 8 month old. Will all 6 of us be able to go and let them know we want to do the baby...

Traveling with 9 Month Old (General Questions)

I love the Wilderness Lodge. Especially that time of year. If they have any great deals for December, it is something I would seriously consider.

Traveling with 9 Month Old (General Questions)

Hello! We are in the early stages of planning a possible trip this December with our little one. We are new parents so don't know much about traveling with an infant. Two of our my major questions are: Do you need a rental car? We are leaning towards getting one in the event of an...

Unconventional tips for traveling with wee ones

I love the collapsible (such a weird word to spell :p) laundry basket idea. I'll have to remember this one!!!

Engegement ring, checked baggage or hand luggage?

Definitely carry-on!!! We took our wedding rings out of country with us and I had them in a back pack and they did not ask us to pull them out for any reason here in the U.S. or in customs. Just to be safe, you may want to keep it in your bag and 'accidently' get seperated at airport check...

    Grand Marnier slushie or Margarita??

I would say have both as well, BUT if you had to choose just one, go with the Grand Marnier slush. I tried it in December and thoroughly enjoyed it. :D

    Pofq

We stayed in building 2 and it was great. Where our room was situated was nice and quiet and faced a courtyard and the river. On the other side of the building was the pool. I can't remember our room number, but I think it was just off Rue D'Baga and Pontchetrain Way??? I just recommended...

    Which port orleans question

Just got back today from a 4 night stay at FQ. I have stayed at both Riverside and FQ and have to say I prefer FQ. It's more manageable. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. The only drawback to the FQ is the smaller food court and the lack of quiet pools, but the smaller size of the...

    ADRs?

I agree with everyone here. Reservations are strongly advised. We just got back today, and we were able to walk up to a few restaurants and get a table. Our first day we left lunch open since we weren't sure how long it would take for the ME to get us to the resort and get checked in. We...

How far would you drive to WDW?

I don't think I could bring myself to drive. We live in Pittsburgh and it would be a 16-18 hour drive, which I don't think would be bad, but the drive home would be horrendous. When vacation is over, I just want to get home!!!

    December 2008 -- Hooray!!

14 Days!!! I know it's still 2 weeks away, but the accuweather forcast says the high on our first day will be 82 and low of 60. If it stays that way that would be fantastic. Coming from a high of 30 degrees us Pittsburgher's will really enjoy the heat!!!!!!!!!

Is Victoria and Alberts worth it?

Thank you for all the advice. We decided against it for this trip. We are doing the California Grill, Yachtsman Steakhouse and the Hollywood Brown Derby. I've never been to either of these so I'm excited. I was also lucky enough to snag a Le Cellier ADR for our last night there. :sohappy...

    Build Your Own Muppet

I took a vacation today so I got to watch most of the Today show. It was cracking me up!!! I especially loved when the security bear wouldn't let Al, Matt and Meredith in. I hope they are selling them at the DHS next month outside of Muppet Vision so I can check them out in person.

    Romance at Disney

I was trying to think of romantic things to do for our honeymoon trip next month. We booked a dinner at California Grill around the fireworks, Yachstman Steakhouse, Hollywood Brown Derby and at Le Cellier. I think just being at WDW with the person you love is romantic and I can't wait. :)

28, 29 or 30 days? I never know if I should count today and the day we leave. We got our documents this week. I cannot wait for the decorations and the music and to have my husband there with me. It's his first time at Walt Disney World EVER!!! :sohappy:

Le Cellier Steakhouse v The Dining Plan Option

I tried for a few weeks after booking our trip. I was beginning to think we wouldn't be able to get one, but finally something opened up. It looks like your trip might already be over, but for anyone else, keep trying!!! This will be my second time at Le Cellier and my new hubby's first...

Ever planned a trip with someone who isnt "excited"??

The first trip I went on with my sister, she seriously asked if we could go to the outlet malls when we I was planning our itinerary. I was seriously worried that she wasn't going to 'get it', but she was instantly a Disney person once she experienced it! Needless to say, she doesn't even...
