Says it all. I would still like to know why using DAS puts people in a better position than not using it. I didnt think it was supposed to do that! Not to mention being able to pre book if you apply before visit!

Question for DAS users - if it is a replacement for you to wait outisde of a standby queue, why are you allowed to hold a DAS pass and q for another ride? Anyone else waiting in a standby line cant do this unless they are using genie+! No wonder usage has increased!!!

It isnt genie+ on its own causing the the issue, increased DAS use is also part of the problem. Perhaps Disney should go the way of Universal and use a 3rd party that can ask for proof

Has anybody managed to find out if the accident was reported at the time. From the description of the injuries it seems that the ride would have had to be closed yet I didnt see this on the quarterly accident report. While there is a known risk of injury of this type, if this is the only one...

Quick look and I dont see this mentioned in the reports for the 3rd or 4th quarterly reports of accidents/injuries. I may be looking in the wrong place though

I aasume (probably shouldn't!) that they take predicted Genie+ usage into account when they guesstimate wait times - how do they account for DAS usage? I believe @lentesta mentioned that DAS was causing some issues??
