Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

Not many years left. Lol. I don't think they are going to go out of business or close but running the parks like they are isn't sustainable. What will happen is they no longer will be the number 1 theme park. Attendance wise they will always be ahead of most other parks due to being open 365...

News Bluey To Join Disney Experiences at its U.S. Theme Parks and Cruise Line Beginning in 2025

My kid had no interest in Bluey. She loves Peppa, Blippi, and Paw Patrol.

Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

I agree. The problem I see If the guest you are after can't go that often or at all it doesn't work. The parks were built for big crowds and repeat visitors. It makes no sense to raise prices like they have but chase a market that can't afford your product. Add in those in that marker that...

Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

I agree with everything you said. I'm a good example of a younger family that wouldn't go to Disney if I hadn't gone as a kid. A lot of it is mostly to do with that my 5 year old has no interest in the Disney IP. She likes Peppa Pig, Blippi, Mario and Lego. It makes no sense to pay the Disney...

Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

It's great for us with lower attendance. The problem is they keep raising prices to make up for that lack of attendance. I just don't know if it's sustainable.

Which replaced a ride that fit Tomorrowland in Alien Encounter that fit and was better.

Disagree. Phones have nothing to do with why the parks were better back then. Epcot had their best rides with Horizons and World of Motion. The dark rides were more AA based and not screen based.

Yes but they fit the park they are in. Unlike Guardians, Tiana's.

I think they were mainly cause they actually tried to make those rides fit the park they were in. Now all the parks are an extension of MK with IP everywhere.

They couldn't afford to. They needed that money to make D+ profitable.

New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

I can understand the frustration but the bolded was a big part of the problem. I know many think an extra 2-3 per party is no big deal. When it's multiple families doing it, it ends up overwhelming the LL queue. It's why Disney put a limit to immediate family. The only time they seem to extend...

    Prices up…profits down…

As the video says FP+ worked great for those who went often and new how to play the game. The original FP was much better as it gave those first time visitors a chance to still have short waits. Availability for the original FP was reset everyday unlike FP+ where availability for most major...

    Prices up…profits down…

That's fair. IMO pricing people out isn't the way to lower attendance. The proper way to do it is to keep adding capacity year in year out. There is no reason why each park shouldn't have 30-40 attractions.

    Prices up…profits down…

I agree Disney was always out of reach for many people financially. Now it's gotten a lot worse with all the nickel and diming they have done. As much as many want to believe they did it to lower attendance, thats a big lie. Disney parks rely on crowds to make money.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

I'm hoping it's like Nemesis at Alton Towers. I don't think it's going to be short lived in regards to coasters. You will get your rides like Cars and Encanto but coasters will still be a major thing. They look at how well they draw at Universal and your average Disney guest seem to like them.

IMO it would be a great improvement for space Mountain. Ejector air time in the dark with inversions would be amazing

To be fair that's was different Six Flags company. If you are into theming and shows than I can understand why you didn't like the change. It's now a coaster and big thrills park.

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

They always have been about quarter over quarter revenue generation but they were better at hiding it. Another thing at least IMO is Iger and Burbank don't understand the parks.
