News Ron Jon Surf Shop coming to Disney Springs

Wow! That signage looks massive and kind of out of place. Maybe I'm remembering incorrectly, but the rest of the signage at Springs always seemed to be well integrated to me.

Disney Skyliner shutdown and evacuation - October 6 2019

I shouldn't have listened to that girl on the Orlando Sentinel recording. At the start of the call, she even said her mom was fine. So it wasn't even an emergency. Worried about what's happening, yes. Emergency, no. The adults in the background seem to be telling her what to say, too. Then it...

Disney Skyliner shutdown and evacuation - October 6 2019

This was suggested many many times when the Skyliner first broke as the system being used...and many many more times after that.

    Insider info/ AMA on WDW's 50th Ann.

I call BS to this whole thing. Nothing has been said here that other people haven't already said. And, the whole backstory seems like an overly dramatic crafted story to get people to believe him/her. I'm not buying it.

REVIEW - Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo at Disney's Hollywood Studios

But Disney made the actual change. Guests may have complained it was difficult, but you don't need to listen to them. :) I feel like it's so easy to complain about things now (either online or through the bazillion surveys they do), that negative feedback is just more prominent now. It might not...

Disney Skyliner shutdown and evacuation - October 6 2019

Only in America 20 minutes? Seriously? Have people never flown before? You get delayed on planes for hours as well. I can see the bathroom part, but insulin and the other things should be the same as going anywhere. This is transportation, not a ride. So the assumption is you have items like...

News New Gondola Transportation - Disney Skyliner -

In the videos, there's no one in the stations loading and unloading passengers. People can just walk up and get on and walk off as soon as the doors open. Why can guests at WDW never seem to be able to figure out the easiest of things on their own? Suburbia? It's kinda sad, really.

Yet I'm sure there are still a LOT of people on here and other websites that watch his channel, so he probably makes more money than most people on this board. So, at least the ego of these bloggers makes some sort of sense.

We THINK. I don’t believe any of us that were in that discussion are lift designers, though. 😀

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

They also made ride buildings icons (when you could see them from a guest area) and not just giant boxes. Part of the beauty of the Magic Kingdom (and most Disney parks) is that you walk into a facade that your imagination usually says IS the ride. Like, Haunted Mansion, etc... Most people don't...

Disney Skyliner shutdown and evacuation - October 6 2019

How many cabins does Epcot hold? With 300 cabins total, I assumed at least 100 or more on the longest line. They hold 10 people so that can be anywhere from 100 to 1000 people, no? And PS, I said “hundreds OR thousands.” Again with not reading my posts. I’m gonna get a complex now. This is...

Disney Skyliner shutdown and evacuation - October 6 2019

For some reason you never understand what I write. I was asking what would have happened to the panic attack guest had RCFD not evacuated them and just let the ride team get the whole system moving again? Not close every attraction because people might have attacks on them. I’m not actually sure...

Disney Skyliner shutdown and evacuation - October 6 2019

So genuine question because I don’t know. What happens when you’re having a panic attack? I am sure it’s debilitating and scary, but is it harmful if left to happen? Just wondering if putting hundreds or thousands of people at risk is worth it for a single panic attack. Obviously RCFD thought...

This is brilliant!!!!! I actually love this idea. It needs a bunch of safety mechanisms, but such a cool idea.

If only they could have had a way for the passengers inside to flag down the responders on the ground and notify them which cabin was having the emergency....like glow sticks or something! 😉

Disney Skyliner shutdown and evacuation - October 6 2019

Doesn’t Disney pay taxes and the government runs itself? Does Disney really decide staffing for emergency services? I always thought the govt was set up for Disney, but they didn’t actually run it. I just thought they were the only landholder and therefore were the only taxpayer. But if they...

News New Gondola Transportation - Disney Skyliner -

Q I get it. But it still just seems odd. They invented a new loading system which was deemed important enough to use in six stations to avoid delays, and then in the middle of the line with the most capacity said, “meh, we can stop the line as needed”. I would also think DVCs are the most...
