This is the new Disney. Effects work for a small amount of time, and then they don't. It seems from Disco Yeti on to Rise of the Resistance, it's just the way things are for now.

As someone who really loved Old EPCOT Center and its nighttime show, I think this is great with one exception. I'm tired of Toy Story in everything, so wish they'd change out the When She Loved Me song. Loved the inclusion of the other songs, the fountains, the fireworks and the overall theme...

Let OLC (Oriental Land Company) buy the Disney theme parks. All of them. Every last one. They know how to run them.

I'm one that loves IOA, but Disneyland? It's probably the world's best theme park by any measure.

So far, the exterior is looking ok for what it is. But I really don't like that mural.

Agreed 100%. It's easy to overlook the problem areas of the movie when you're so intent of making sure it's a good fit for an attraction. Not the first time and probably not the last either.

Real villains to fight and conquer make real heroes. Remove the bad guy, and the story falls flat. Real life isn't safe and predictable either.

Then go all in and build a tiki aesthetic Hawaiian Resort that never was. More theming, not less. I’d stay there!

Perfectly summed up description of DCA at this point in time. I won't go back until they build a few things that are just irresistible. So, maybe never. ;)

On the WDW thread, there's photos of the salt dome with much more moss on the lower levels. The abundance of green will look very nice in the Critter Country area. Maybe some weeping willows will help transition from New Orleans Square to the exterior of Tiana's Adventure.

I don’t think it will destroy the believability, i just don’t think it fits the area and the subtlety of the look of the park in that area. One man's opinion. Are there bigger issues in the park? Yes- but that doesn't mean we cannot comment or disagree on elements added to it that we don't care...

I can give you that. Good point. :) The premise is a poor one, IMHO, though. PS- I thought I had shown you a photo of me and my granddaughter at WDW. Must be mistaken. Sorry.
