    The Development of Background Music

Like a lot of things, this is one you won't find online.

    The Development of Background Music

By all means check, but I understand all of the old school EPCOT music is in deep storage, on media that is not conducive to copying. How about Living with the Land queue audio, or the opening announcement? Check for those. It's short, running only 5:16. It's also the same loop that was...

    The Development of Background Music

The POC track isn't for sale and doesn't appear to be a cue from any of the three films. It's only 60 seconds and is a variation of Yo Ho. A recording of it was sent to someone who potentially could ID its source, but no word back yet. Regarding the original UOE loop, that's one a lot of...

Great weather and the Flower and Garden Festival at EPCOT.

    The Development of Background Music

You want to know more about the system, or how the music is compiled? For the latter, there are different groups within Disney that compile the BGMs, depending on whether its used in a park or resort. Based on my experience, sometimes there seems to be a lot of thought into the selections that...

Tom Bergeron filming America's Funniest Home Videos at Epcot today (photos)

It's actually one of the few shows on TV that you can actually watch with your kids.

    Spaceship earths british accent.

It doesn't get any better than Tomorrow's Child. Now that was the best SSE music of all time!

WOL Area Music, Tomorrowland BGM pre 2003

I've never been able to find information about the music played before the "new age" loop. As pointed about above, there were two "Jazz BGM's", the Raymond Scott loop, with a run time of 15:14, and the George Wilkens loop, with a run time of ~30.37. The only other additions to your list would...

I put links to each song in my playlist.

    D23 Anniversary Party at WDW

Expressing the same opinion over and over is pretty damn annoying, imo of course. Do us all a favor and make one post about your dislike for D23 and just refer to that every time you want to make the same point.

    New HoP audio and such

AA has 29 tracks, with a run time of about 59 minutes (I can look up the exact time later). The number of tracks in Liberty Square depends on if you want to count the two duplicate songs. Without the duplicates, there are 12 songs (running around 20 minutes), 10 of which are included in the AA...

    New HoP audio and such

Well, it would be nice if the AA loop included all of the tracks from the now defunct Liberty Square loop, but, unfortunately, it does not.

    Favorite song from the parks?

The actual name of the song is Future World Theme. You can purchase most of the tracks in the loop (all but two). My playlist with CD information can be found here.

    New HoP audio and such

Go to iTunes and look up the CD Sousa's Greatest Hits & Some That Should Have Been, by the United States Marine Band. Listen to the following tracks, which are the first six songs in the new loop: 01 - The Stars and Stripes Forever 06 - King Cotton 03 - The Washington Post 16 - The Royal Welsh...

    A Magic Kingdom Medley

It's not used in either the Frontierland loop nor the Big Thunder Mountain queue. The song is called Come Again (Come on In). It's used in the current entrance loop, as well as the previous version.

Hall of Presidents reduced operating hours this week for improvements

True, but the current lobby music includes some fast paced marches already. Another needle drop loop. This was the playlist before the major rehab. I recorded 20 minutes this morning to see if my list has changed. I recognized a lot of the songs, but, now, the loop is interrupted during...

Hall of Presidents reduced operating hours this week for improvements

It could also be a nice enhancement to the lobby music at Hall of Presidents. I've never heard of Disney surveying guest reaction to area music. Heck, do most guests even notice background music?

Hall of Presidents reduced operating hours this week for improvements

So far, a few friends and I were able to ID half the loop. I think it's safe to assume this is another needle drop loop. Finishing the playlist will require listening to hundreds of marching band samples, so it could take some time.
