Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

They needed another theater along with that third for Soarin'. Fixing Imagination, Energy and reopening Wonders of Life would help out, too.

Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

Lol, the M&Gs only get 300-400/hr. Snow White got 1,100/hr compared to Princess Fairytale Hall's 400/hr. Frozen needs a 2,500-3,000/hr E-ticket.

    A Spirited Perfect Ten

I'd be fine with Stitch getting the Turtle Talk-esque show from the other parks by the old Skyway area. However, you've got to admit getting chili dogs burped on you isn't a fun experience :depressed: replacing it and Laugh Floor is the first step to a better Tomorrowland. But at least Laugh...

    2 days - enough time?

Great Movie Ride has FP+ all day, while Star Tours has 20 min waits even during the summer. It's RnRC, ToT and TSMM that have the 60 minute+ waits all day. And if you get FP+ for TSMM, ToT and Star Tours, with RnRC at rope drop, and then you pick up FP+ for Great Movie Ride later in the day...

Do we lose track of the fact that WDW is really (in essence) for kids?

To be fair, 20K doesn't really fit Fantasyland. It should have been used as a transition between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. If they canned the Speedway for it, they could have put the Matterhorn or the Enchanted Snow Palace where 20K used to be. But Jules Verne steampunk just seems awkward...

    A Spirited Perfect Ten

POTC 1 was pretty solid. I agree with the rest, though. And whoever thinks Tower of Terror is a Disney original clearly has never been to the Twilight Zone...

    A Spirited Perfect Ten

I think Bald Mountain could own Splash Mountain if Disney were willing to make it 10 minutes long to allow show scenes, a Chernabog AA and a ride that's fully synced to 'Night on Bald Mountain'. But I agree that Splash Mountain is the only E-ticket at WDW based on a Disney, non IP acquisition...

Who thinks they should reopen Wonders of Life in Epcot with some new Inside Out theming?

An Inside Out suspended D-ticket dark ride (shares some show scenes with E-ticket) E-ticket family coaster with Body Wars/Adventures Through Inner Space esque storyline New high-capacity show Small play area with exhibits and games Use the lobby for event space. Use the rest to increase...

Do we lose track of the fact that WDW is really (in essence) for kids?

It would be perfect with all 3 dark ride portions... and if they added a B&TB trackless dark ride, Bald Mountain, a new dark ride where Princess Fairytale Hall is and Wonderland/100 Acre Wood mini-lands... SDMT's problem is it is not worth a wait longer than 30-35 min. Adding 2-3 more headliners...

    Magic Kingdom's Space for Expanding

No. TDO's unwillingness to fully build out the other 3 gates is why we are in this position to begin with. MK will always be the #1 park at WDW, so it makes sense to continue growing its attraction count once the other 3 are 1-1.5 days on their own.

    Magic Kingdom's Space for Expanding

Or do a full build-out of all 4 parks :p Epcot - $3 billion ($1.75 billion for Future World, $1.25 billion for World Showcase) DHS - $2.5 billion (Star Wars, Pixar Place expansion, Muppets mini-land, GMR upgrade, Sunset/Animation Courtyard revamp, some placemaking) MK - $2.5 billion (NFL Part...

It's worth a thing if the same is done for Epcot, DHS, and AK

    Magic Kingdom's Space for Expanding

How's adding 30,000-50,000/day across the entire park going to make the lines worse? Especially if you also improve the other 3 parks to be full-day experiences on their own. If a Western River Expedition with 3,000-3,200/hr capacity were added to Frontierland, the lines for Big Thunder and...

Oz - Tony Baxter's Final Project

So Doom and the Carnage warehouse are being used for just the E? Or is there a smaller attraction being added also? I'm curious to see what ride system's used. Spidey and FJ-style rides are out since they're already in IOA. Could this be Universal's attempt to one-up Tower of Terror? I'm...

Oz - Tony Baxter's Final Project

Not to mention something's got to be done with the Lost Continent/Toon Lagoon areas, something for Shrek and T2, the Hello Kitty area, Seuss getting something on the last major expansion pad for IOA, the eventual 3rd gate, more hotels, Cabana/Royal Pacific expansions, and something for the...

    Magic Kingdom's Space for Expanding

If you bulldoze the Skyway area, relocate CoP, build 2 stories on the space from Space Mt/CoP, replace Stitch since it really doesn't attract anyone right now lol, and bulldoze the Speedway to open up a guest pathway to a Tomorrowland expansion pad (using the old Speedway area for...

Nintendo Theme Park - Where Does it Belong? And What Should Be In It?

Yes, but Capcom/Nintendo worked together on Smash 4. So Megaman, Pac-Man and even Sonic are possible for usage at Universal if Comcast wants to try and make a deal with them.

    Magic Kingdom's Space for Expanding

Two day? Two days from 9am to midnight? Unless you want to experience EVERYTHING (M&Gs, rides, shows, walkthroughs, Streetmosphere, shops, both parades, the nighttime castle show, the fireworks, all of the restaurants), MK takes 1.5 days... if you're over the age of 10, it takes a full 8am-1am...

    Magic Kingdom's Space for Expanding

Really? Peter Pan and SDMT shouldn't have 60-120 min waits. JC/POTC/HM shouldn't have 45-60 min waits. IASW shouldn't have 40 min waits. 75% of that is due to a lack of mass appeal, high-capacity attractions near them (especially for SDMT) If Epcot were fully built-out, and drew in 15-17m...
