Our trip was 9/6-16, luckily the parks were on the low side so we only purchased genie plus one day. The thing I really dislike is that after purchasing genie plus you have to fork out more cash to do a premium ride. WTH!! Now my 3 20 somethings handle the logistics, I can't blame Disney...
