Just curious when people like to get to the parks

I gotta be there at least 30 min before opening. My wife, on the other hand, could sleep in til 10. Alas, I pity her into waking up and getting to the parks early every day. I tell her it's vacation and we can sleep in the other 51 weeks of the year!

Mattress quality in Disney resort rooms

Agreed with the hardness of the beds. On our last 2 trips we have stayed at AoA and POP. We woke up every morning with super sore backs and not very good nights rests. I don't expect a luxury mattress, but geez....

What's your favorite time of day at WDW?

Morning and closing, for different reasons: Morning (opening): like it because of the (usual) coolness before it gets too hot; typically low crowds so you can get numerous rides in and I love listening to the entrance loops while waiting in line to get in. And of course, watching the welcome...

    Favorite non-park thing to do

So what is everyone's favorite thing to do on Disney property that isn't in the parks? Personally, just riding the monorail does it for me.

    Town Square, Main Street USA

Used to enjoy the little side street that had all the flowers and carts loaded down with flowers. My sister always had to stop and take pictures there

    50s Prime Time Reviews

I agree with what you say, but there have been a few times where the waiter's "acting" has been abysmal, which just ruined the whole fantasy of being in the 50's.

that you have found at a thrift store/garage sale/etc. a local church has a massive garage sale each year and they typically have tons of vintage Disney items. I've never purchased any, but interested to hear about others' treasure finds!

Flights of Wonder at Disney's Animal Kingdom closing for refurbishment Jan 2016

This was closed on our last trip. Was very disappointed. I remember my first time ever seeing the show and it was one of the trainer's last shows since she was taking a job elsewhere. The cast got real emotional and it carried over to the audience. Was an awesome experience.

Lights, Motors, Action Extreme Stunt Show to permanently close in April 2016

Agreed. Watched it once, but not really something I'd want to watch time and time again. I somewhat feel the same about Indiana Jones. Saw it so many times in it's early days that I've probably watched it once or twice since the early-mid-90's

    Disney in Late February

I'm hoping since Mardi Gras falls after Columbus Day next year that a lot of the crowds will already be gone.

    Baby's First Trip to WDW

We will also be making a trip with our son who will be a little over 18 months at the time of our trip. Where are some good places in each park to go and allow him to rest/nap?

POP vs AOA - Large rooms

Hi everyone, I have stayed at both resorts in the past in their smaller rooms (2 beds), but on our next trip we will be going with some other family members and will be getting one of the large rooms. I know both resorts are pretty similar for the most part, but are their any major differences...

What is your favorite place to eat in each park/resort?

I'm looking for some new places to try on our next trip, so what are yall's favorite places to eat in each park and resort? Granted, I have a very limited sample size to choose from. For me personally: MK: Columbia Harbor House EPCOT: Haven't loved any of the places I've eaten here, but...

Fondest WDW memory from your childhood

To add to my OP. Another memory I have involves the Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area (when it was more interactive). Being so small and everything around me so big, it was quite awe-inspiring. I also remember being absolutely terrified of Splash Mountain and now it's my favorite ride!
