POP vs AOA - Large rooms

Hi everyone,

I have stayed at both resorts in the past in their smaller rooms (2 beds), but on our next trip we will be going with some other family members and will be getting one of the large rooms. I know both resorts are pretty similar for the most part, but are their any major differences between the 2 when it comes to the larger rooms?

Just to clarify a bit....Pop Century has only standard value size rooms. Art of Animation as the exact same size rooms in the Little Mermaid Section, but the rest of the resort is made up of what are called value suites.

The difference between the standard value room and a value suite is, in a word, tremendous.

A value suite is right at double the square footage, has a master bedroom and bath, a living room and dining room that converts to a second bedroom, a mini-kitchen and a second full bathroom.

oh ok wasn't aware of that. well i guess that makes our decision easy!
The only other value resort that has suites is All Star Music, but since these were made by converting 2 existing value rooms into 1 suite, the floor plan is a bit different.

Having stayed in both, I found the ones at Art of Animation to be much better.

AOA suites are totally worth the money. It may be cheaper to get two standard rooms at POP but AOA is a better experience. We enjoyed having the kitchenette in the AOA room. There was plenty of space in the room and the themes are fun. We stayed in a cars suite.

The question has been answered but I'd like to put in my 2 cents. We sayed at POP from the 7th-15th needless to say we walked to AoA every morning for breakfast. First time at POP and last time, the employees at a section of the food court made a very bad impression on us. Never again....
