Seems like mid January is when the current version closes now. Closed January 17th 2017 to add Trump, and January 21st 2021 for Biden. I would imagine they'll take the current one down after Christmas.

Splash was a masterful mix of thrill, story, and immersion. Bayou is a thrilling ride with questionable immersion and a story aimed at the Disney Jr. crowd. The ride system and story are at odds.

I've heard most of the stuff from Splash was tossed due to the fast turn around and that only Disneyland’s Movin' Along Br'er Rabbit was archived. I'd love to be wrong, though.
