Large portions of the entertainment in all of the non-MK parks that still aren’t available/announced to be available soon (not counting M&G’s) are planned to be gone for the foreseeable future, if not forever.

CA Grill will still be open Oct 2, it will just be a different enough offering to where allowing people to book reservations for it without knowing what it is would be disingenuous.

While that may be roughly the number (I honestly don’t know what the current number is), things are no longer done by percentages. Now it varies park to park, and is largely dependent on offerings and ability to handle crowds.

Fant 2.0 for WDW (iirc) was never a major overhaul (despite needing it). More of a series of tech upgrades with minor changes and tweaks. That Star Tours overhaul plan died shortly after I posted that back in 2017. It is a very low priority now. No idea on shows other than apparently steps...

I’m sure it came up and was a factor. It just isn’t the only, or even main, factor, or else this change wouldn’t have come for another month or two.

On the bright side, this change is more about increasing Stand-By capacity for the overburdened parks at the moment. That said, I’m sure that adding capacity for future paid FP was viewed as a perk.

Have there been instances of people selling the ability to tour the parks with them using DAS the same way it happened with GAC?

The “excuse” is two-fold. 1) The parks still have a lot of “filler” offering shuttered. Things like most of DHS’s shows not being up are effectively making the only things to do these things with lines, sending more people into attractions. 2) Speaking of more people, attendance levels right...

Nothing inherently wrong with a busbar dark ride. Just difficult for busbar dark rides on the scale of the original Fantasyland attractions if I recall.
