I just don't like the theming of Simpsons. Not a fan of the current area at Universal and my mind just can't fathom it at Disney. I think Disney has plenty of other IP that would be more of a draw than Simpsons.

That's fair, I do enjoy SGE even though I do think it could have been done better in hindsight. I do agree on the overpromising though. For me the main example of that is EPCOT.

Lackluster product? I find SGE to be one of the best lands Disney has made with RoTR being one of the best attractions, and it is wildly popular. Avatar is a great land and FoP is another phenomenal attraction. Tropical Americas looks great, fits Animal Kingdom, and is not a pure "IP land"...

It is crazy too that I think most would agree Universal still has the best Marvel Land anyway. But, as a Florida resident, I'm bummed there won't be anything new here using that IP for a long time.

I think this is a net positive for the park for the majority of people. I know a lot are sad about MV3D, but I think this is still overall going to make the park better, even though of course I think there might have been better options. But honestly my final verdict depends on what comes next...

This is a far more complete "land" than I thought from the concept art. A major attraction, a second "show" attraction, and a themed restaurant.
