    Rumor Bye Bye (Tiki) Birdies?

What I like is in his live stream from yesterday, he says that now and Disney are at war. OK, he's profiting off using the Disney brand, more than likely not having to pay any form of licensing (as well as probably getting perks from Disney!) but yet he declares war on them. He needs to...

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

They currently run on #2 biodiesel fuel, so essentially an oil-burning steam locomotive. You would still get a little residue from the smoke, but it wouldn't be as much as coal or some form of standard oil burner. But like the photo above, painting the sections dark that the locos run under...

News Bird attack at Disney World leaves woman with traumatic brain injury

Also, she could have gotten a bag of something to feed the bird. I think it's only tuppence a bag!

Would you pay $226 for a souvenir?

Depends on what it is. A lightsaber? No, even if it's one of the custom ones. If it were some Disney limited artwork or a train set or limited train, then I would.

News Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Disneyland opening reports/reviews

Overall, I love how it looks and can't wait until it opens at DHS. I've had to stop watching the YouTube accounts, as I don't want to see every inch of it! I want to go, experience it myself and discover those surprises on my own!

How much $ is to much $ to charge for stuff.

To echo what's been said here, it follows when I've sold toy trains over the years: as long as people will pay that price, the price will stay there or increase. You see folks even posting YouTube videos of their merch "hauls" after their Disney trips, and those can easily reach in the...

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

It looks like the WDWRR will be running under the walkways that are the entries to the Tron ride. The track is being updated with new sections (since it's not in operation now, may as well!) and the locomotives have a chance to finish their turns at Strasburg being refurbished. As far as I...

    News Tomorrowland love

I like it! To me, it really makes the area seem so much more spacious as opposed to how the steampunk styling made it a little more claustrophobic (and I love steampunk!) Plus, it will make the white and multi-color accents of Tron fit right in!

    Magic Kingdom Adventureland

And it could be a junior version of Soarin', made mainly for kids but enjoyable for all. Expand on the carpet segment from Philharmagic and it would be a great ride!

Marvel vs Star Wars: The Tale of Two Different Ways Disney Implements Properties

That's what's great about Marvel, in that they can set it anywhere. From an economic standpoint, starting with an overlay to the New York Street would have been a little less money, and in a way to make an iconic location from the Avengers and other Marvel movies (Battle of New York, scenes in...

Star Wars Land Demand vs Capacity

Indeed. My wife got Avatar on DVD when it came out, watched it and the extras around that time, and it's now been in the extra DVDs stored in the basement since. There hasn't been a desire to watch it again since. Makes me wonder how the sequels will fare, given the time between. On top of...

    Good Walt/ wdw biography

Seconded. Read these and you will get a close to complete picture of the man himself. Thomas' one was the one I read first (a gift from my wife one Christmas!) and the Gabler one a little before the PBS documentary aired. Both are great!

    Ruin A Beloved Attraction!

Hey! I like Clamato! Then again, I committed to chugging several cups of Beverly last August, because my daughter made progressively yuckier faces the more of it I drank!

    Magic Kingdom Adventureland

From most of what I'm reading, the movie will take place in the ride's time period, which could mean either a nod to the ride for the movie, or preparation to integrate movie elements to the ride, just in case it's a hit.

Marvel vs Star Wars: The Tale of Two Different Ways Disney Implements Properties

I didn't know DCA was getting one as well! They're really going for the fences there now, with both Galaxy's Edge and Marvel!

Marvel vs Star Wars: The Tale of Two Different Ways Disney Implements Properties

I think there may be something more immersive for Marvel sometime, but right now they're sinking a lot of money into SW:GE for both parks, as well as that Universal having some IP rights. Isn't one of the parks (Disneyland Paris or somewhere?) going to have a Marvel Land? I think something...
