The expo dates hit me right between the eyes. It seems odd that the next 4 expos will be in Anaheim. It's as if it's Disneyland23, not Disney23. What about non-CA Disney fans? Perhaps the 4 CA Expos is a way to lure visitors to DCA while it resembles a walled city? I wonder what the...

I'm on the fence about D23 - especially since the Expos will be in CA for the next 4 years. Since charter membership is available until Dec 31, 2009 - I'm going to take my time to decide.

Bob Iger and John Lasseter are guests on The View, which is being filmed at the Burbank studios and airs today (March 11) at 11 a.m. ET on ABC. Co-host Whoppi Goldberg is also supposed to sing "Blood on the Saddle" from Country Bears Jamboree. Should be good.

Not yet - I'm taking a wait and see approach since charter membership status is availble thru the end of this year. I might be more interested if there was a fan event/expo announced for WDW in 2009 (I don't see myself going to Anaheim anytime soon - especially with DCA all torn up).

From the D23 membership link: "Join by December 31, 2009 to be a D23 Charter Member" *waits to see if worth it - especially if the only expo/fan event in 2009 is in Anaheim*

A CM who works at PC said the Animation Inn idea has been scrapped, but didn't mention the possibility of finishing Legendary Years anytime soon. It's a shame too - every since PC was announced, my husband has wanted to stay in the 1900 section. Hopefully it will happen....someday :shrug...

It looks like SeaWorld, etc are to be sold off as part of the A-B InBev deal. Article mentions possible (but unlikely) bid by Disney.
