Places that offer something different and let you know you're at disney: Biergarten, Ohana, sci-fi(even though the food is so so).

Thanks for the info. It's appreciated.

    Your Children's Favourite Park.

Right from my 8-year old's mouth: (1) MK because of the "setting," (2) Epcot, (3) AK and (4) HS last because he doesn't like the "freak in the tummy" that TOT gives him

    Port Orleans-Riverside

Stayed at POR in February and was very happy with the room, theming and facilities

Absolute best restaurant at Disney? (money not taken into consideration)

I agree. Best meal I've had at a Disney property was Shula's

    Epcot Strolling Food.

strollling around and stopping for a fish and chips and a Bass Ale is the absolute best

Seems like disney is trying to crush the dvc resale market!!!

I just closed on 150 at BCV for 70/point within the last 3 weeks. Disney declined ROFR

Ever found something at disney that really blew your mind?

My folks took me to Disney World when I was 10 or 11. For some reason, I always remembered riding the Haunted Mansion with my Mom. I remember her pointing out the floating candelabra and the dueling ghosts. I took my Mom down to WDW with my family last year. Thirty years later, when i rode the...

Days do you need to see WDW?

It also depends on what type of days you're planning, ie. If you're at a park for rope drop(or emh) v. rolling into a park at 11:30-12:00. Can get a ton done before noon.

    Use Year Question

This may be a little off topic for this thread but, my understanding is that when one buys resale points with the same use year as an existing DVC contract, all points are under one new contract for that use year. When one buys points in a different use year than an existing DVC contact, two...

Quick service best places to eat

If you like fish and chips, Yorkshire country fish shop in Epcot has good stuff. And they serve Bass Ale.

Would you skip a Disney trip to go see the Winter Olimpics?

Winter Olympics in Russia sounds like a once in a lifetime opportunity. Not sure what Sochi is like but it would be pretty cool to go. Just need to brush up on your Yakov Smirnoff jokes

The Good The Bad and The Ugly!

Good: 'Ohana Bad: Commissary at HS Ugly: Cosmic Rays, but not because of how it looks. I've come to the conclusion that the mens' room at cosmic rays is one of the worst places on earth between the hours of 11:30 and 2:00 and, unfortunately, the building seems to cause my 8-year old son to have...

Always liked this picture for a family room. Thought it was fairly understated but easy to see:

    Disney's website

The new website has been very disappointing. To call it glitchy is a very kind, diplomatic understatement

    must-do photos

Agree with you there. My favorite shot is from the plaza with the fountain and geosphere in background, at night

    Which Castle for Dining?

Maybe because it's the last one to which I've been but, out of the three, I preferred BOG. The weather effect in BOG was pretty neat.

    The Plaza Restaurant At MK!

Don't think it is a bad place but it's kind of a glorified counter service. Didn't seem worth a table service credit on the meal plan

    Shootin' Arcade

    Was open in January

Internet killed the World Showcase films.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the show. Maybe creepy wasn't the right word. It's just the first half of it, at least to me, is a little dark.
