Does anyone have updates on the Refurb at POFQ? We went there for dinner one night last week and there seems to be a lot of construction equipment around. We have rezzies for Thanksgiving week.

Got to the Contemporary yesterday (9-18). Sadly the nice lady at the Contempo Cafe said NO Halloween refillable mugs this year. She didn’t know about Christmas mugs yet.

We’ll be going there Wednesday. I’ll update the post unless someone posts.

Heading to WDW next week for 8 days. Do they have the Halloween themed refillable mugs available?

If we stay 10 days, we’ll do a split stay. Usually 3 at POP then 7 at POFQ. If we can snap a good deal at a Deluxe with our AP, we’ll splurge a little.

Roaring Forks is our fav QS eating spot. Although I saw recently they eliminated the meatloaf dinner from their offerings. That was our go to dinner meal. But the boat ride to and from the MK is so relaxing.

I’d like to work on any of the boats that travel on Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon.

We’re kinda of like a lot of folks here. We wanted to do a split stay so we decided to book Pop. Wow what a wonderful surprise. We typically stay 3-4 nights, then move on to our next stop. Pop just checks off so many positives for us. Food Court, Skyliner, the room, the theming. It’s all good.

I’m thinking the designers could have squeezed in a stackable washer/dryer combo unit in somewhere. Although the laundry facilities in the bath house are super clean, they can be quite a distance away from your cabin. And if you decide to rent a golf cart, that’s an extra $65 a day.

Does anyone know with the recent rains if the boats to DS have started running again? I’m not sure if the heavy rains made it that far north.

We’re staying at Poly next week. We’d like to take advantage of the extra after hours at the MK. Is there anything we need to do if we’re already in the park when regular closing time comes around? Do they scan your MB?

I’m with you on the charging. We typically recharge them when we get back to our resort at the end of the day. It usually takes 30-45 minutes to fully charge and with us it will last until the next night. They do have some nice designs.

On another POFQ topic, have the boats started running to Disney Springs yet?

That’s great info @Ayla ! We were there 2 years ago and they stopped running the boats because of too much rain! The boats wouldn’t fit under the bridges. Those DS springs boats are in my top 5 reasons for staying at POFQ.
