    Tokyo Disney Resort Massive Expansion

I can't imagine there'd be any room within the resort loop for a 3rd gate. Regardless, if the 3rd gate is anywhere near the quality of the first two, I am all for it.

Survivor: Heroes vs Healers vs Hustlers

Another new and good immunity challenge. It was clear from the start you did not want to get in a true squatting position. No way, unless you are a Catcher, are you going to hold that position for a long time. Voting Cole was as dumb as Cole is. You need to vote actual strategy threats out...

Survivor: Heroes vs Healers vs Hustlers

Mrs. GenX and I have no access to spoilers, but she is speculating that the big intrigue Probst alludes to in the latter part of the season is Joe and Ben actually physically fighting. As in other Survivors and camera crew have to break them up, fighting. That, of course, would be awesome...

Day Trip to somewhere other than Paris?

I'm not sure how long it will take by train as we drove through Europe, but the Chateau de Chambord ... c'est magnifique! Earlier in our trip we had visited Neuschwanstein Castle, so we hit the two big Cinderella Castle inspirations.

Survivor: Heroes vs Healers vs Hustlers

The potential for the jury to be sore losers and bitter is something that has to be taken into account. This is another reason why you have to get "nice" people out so that they do not make the final two or three. You can't risk a bitter jury. I agree Russell should have won his first season...

Survivor: Heroes vs Healers vs Hustlers

I agree with PUSH that it was cool to see them add a new element to their typical endurance challenges. I'm surprised it's taken this long to get a restaurant as a sponsor for the show. Any morsel of food gets rave reviews from the starving contestants. It's been quite a few seasons since...

    Why DisneyQuest failed

I don't know what DQ's attendance numbers were, but it always seemed crowded when we were there. Even when one of the counter service restaurants closed, the Genie was turned off, and some attractions were shuttered, it was still full. We went to DQ every trip, nearly every year from 2001 -...

Survivor: Heroes vs Healers vs Hustlers

Welcome, krause! I still think Chrissy is getting a winner's edit, and I like your addition of Ryan to that. He is, too. I agree with PUSH on the edit foreshadowing Roark's (who?) boot. Chrissy saw right through her and effectively neutralized her. I am still in camp Chrissy, as I find her...

What is the theme of the TTC?

It has plenty of themes. First, there is Space Land. Here, futuristic humanoids from mission control help you dock your vehicle into its yellow-lined space port. From there, you catch a relaxing ride on the TTC's TTA-like tram, which allows you to take selfies while you hear the times for...

Survivor: Heroes vs Healers vs Hustlers

Cole is not the sharpest machete in the Survivor toolbox. Chrissy is getting a winner's edit. Ben is not up on his Survivor cliches. When you're an odd person out after a tribe switch, the right answer to Jeff's question is NOT to talk about being nervous. The right answer to that (and most...

Survivor: Heroes vs Healers vs Hustlers

I liked that Chrissy kept the first-tribal-only idol as a decoy and has since made alliances with everyone. She's sharp. Kinda hot, too. I loved that Cole (or whatever his name is) was concerned about the age difference between him and Jessica, because ... she just turned 30. Oh, no! She's...

Survivor: Heroes vs Healers vs Hustlers

A classic first boot - an "old" lady. In this particular case, the old lady was only 46 and an ex-Olympic swimmer, but Survivor has to have its patterns (and did you know fire represents life?). Since Alan played Cornerback for the Fighting Illini (and a season with Da Bears, too), he is a...

Boy jumped into lake a Epcot!

If Disney doesn't want kids jumping into the Imagination Pavilion lagoon, they should theme it after River Country ... in its current state.

    Bye bye Mickey soaps?

As long as when you push the button the shampoo/conditioner/soap squirts out in a Mickey shape, I'm good with this.

The current best burger at WDW ?

The standard counter service burgers are not outstanding by any stretch, but they're still good. While they're the same throughout the resort, the "best" ones are from Cosmic Ray's. Not because of the burger, of course, but because of the top notch entertainment provided by Mr. Sonny Eclipse.

    R.I.P. DisneyQuest

With each visit over the last couple of years, we feared it would be the last. This year last month was finally it. Maybe because I grew up playing Pac Man, Defender, Berzerk, Galaga, etc., DQ had a great sense of nostalgia for me. And those games are still fun ... even my boys liked playing...

Is Happily Ever After A Downgrade from Wishes?

A couple of years ago, we went to DLP and were mesmerized by the castle projections during the fireworks show. Loved it, visually dazzling. We were very pleased to see WDW incorporate the castle projections into the show. A definite upgrade for us.

Disney Quest to close in July 2017

They should move the PotC: Battle for Buccaneer Gold attraction somewhere, anywhere (Innoventions? Typhoon Lagoon? Adventureland?). This is the one stellar attraction DQ had left. We were happy to have won it one last time two weeks ago. Rather than auctioning off the video games, they...

RUMOR: WDW purposely restricting FOP fastpasses

I figure the stand by line is going to be pegged at two hours or three hours all day, regardless of FP. People decide to get in the stand by when they see the wait time is within acceptable limits for them ... not based on how fast the line itself is moving. Also, the number of riders for the...

Avatar Flight of Passage reviews, comments and questions

Wow. We were thoroughly dazzled by this ride. It is an incredible achievement in beauty, artistry, thrill, and, notably, suspending your disbelief. By that I mean it is easy to forget you are on a ride. Everything is so seamless, so smooth, so all-encompassing. I haven't been this stunned...
