Thanks! It's a big decision to make. My fiance had been kicking the idea around for quite some time. The surgery itself while keeping me worried yesterday is relatively safe. There's less than a 1% chance of fatal complications if it's done laprascopically and a tad higher if a large incision...

Does this show depress anyone here as much as it does me? Don't get me wrong, I enjoy watching and seeing these people do amazing things. I just end up feeling even lazier and fatter after sitting on the couch for an hour watching OTHER people lose weight! :cry:

My trip has never been completely ruined. But it does seem without fail that by the end of every trip I end up with a pretty bad cold or sinus infection. :( It's never been enough to keep me out of the parks though!

I've never stayed at either but having visited both I'd say Wilderness Lodge. I'd like to relly escape to the wood's for good some day but until then Wilderness Lodge will suffice! If the wallet allows this is where I hope to stay for my next trip. :)

I always hit Epcot first. Then park hop where ever I feel like at the moment. I think it's more fun that way. :D

Being from the North East should have had you at least some what prepared! ;) I like to make like the cold doesn't phase me at all when in WDW. There was one particularly cold and windy day on my last trip which I was not at all prepared for. A CM in the Epcot gift shop I was wandering asked...

I usually get in around noon as well. I've had many more occasions where the room was ready than not. Either way some food at the food court is usually a must then off to Epcot for my obligatory ride on Spaceship Earth and maybe a couple other attractions. Then to bed early for a bright and...

My deodorant constantly reminds me of WDW because I started using on a trip about 4 years ago. For some unknown reason my mom's house smells like a freshly cleaned Disney hotel room...can't figure it out!

No sense in getting a "preferred site" when you can have an excuse to rent a golf cart. ;)

I didn't read the WHOLE thread so I'm sorry if someone mentioned this... The All Star Resorts share buses. You're almost guaranteed a longer wait and will always find your self on a PACKED bus at the end of the night. That alone makes POP more worth while to me. I've stayed once at All Stars...

I was able to attend a similar event when I was 13 or so. I think it was in 1997... for the Oldsmobile golf event held at WDW. My step dad at the time was a GM for an Old's dealership. Everytime he hit his sales quota we got two more golf balls in the mail with letters and featuring Disney...

The star tunnel music is one of my faves in all off WDW. They'll have to deal with me if they change it! Lol I think I found my copy of it on Mouse Bits...seems to be the place I find most of what I'm looking for.

I never got a chance to go. :( But I gather the atmosphere coupled with the cast members/show are what made it so popular.
