Ordered our Magic+ Bands today, 05 September 2022. It SAID will ship within 10 days. Just hoping we get them before 03 December 2022.

I also hope it gets better. But the current feedback is not very positive, and the premature rollout is a direct reflection of Chapek's poor money grabbing non-leadership. As far as the future goes, we will see. But the past and present of the situation still do not reflect well.

Well, one additional thing I learned from this thread is that Disney had a good plan and implementation for the original free Magic Bands. Just ship them 30-days in advance of your trip. Multiple trips and never had a problem. They always worked. But the situations that I am reading about here...

So, they ship a battery powered device with a limited life immediately...even though you may not need to use it for months. I think that policy sucks...but thank you for letting me know. Guess I'll order in MDE at the 45-day mark and hope for the best.

We are going in December for the first time since 2018. I know that the Disney policy on Magic Bands for past trips was to ship them to you 30-days prior to your trip. But that was when they were free. Is that still the case? My concern is that since you must purchase them now, Disney may ship...

That is just their ongoing and never-ending excuse for just about everything!

We don't go on vacation to save $$$ to make up our own beds. For us, one purpose of vacation is to get away from all that and live free for a week. The amount is ridiculous anyway as you can bet Disney saves a whole lot more than $10/day.

We still love them, but I don't think any ride at Disney is the least bit terrifying. You need to go to Universal or Seaworld for that.

I think it is probably appropriate. Bean Counter Chapek is doing everything he can to destroy Walt's dream. So, he may as well stop the association. Disney has been going to crap since COVID. Just another episode in the ongoing saga: "Bean Counter Chapek strikes again."

The last time they asked me for a survey...I really did let them have it. So, I don't expect they will ask me again.

Same here. After a number of 7 or 8-night trips strictly on Disney property...and what with all the many diminishments Disney has incorporated since our last visit in 2018...we no longer see Disney as a one-stop vacation Destination. So instead of just staying at Disney, our next trip planned...

The board only cares about itself and is every bit as bad as Chapek. So why would they not renew his contract? The board also could not care less about the guest experience. Disney needs an entirely new board of directors as well as senior management!

I recently upgraded our 4-day tickets for December 2022 to include Genie+. I already know it sucks but may as well try it since it is what Disney has now. Perhaps...maybe...we can ride one good ride each day. But the impacts are already there: - Genie+ is why I reduced our normal 8-day tickets...
