    Mini Lucas-Land?

Interesting for sure. Didn't think about this. So thanks for sharing, Lee.

    No Mickey, No Dragon='s LessThanFantasmic

Let me sum up the Fantasmic situation for all of you: It is currently one of the saddest things to ever grace WDW property and is a pretty sad excuse for a nighttime spectacular in nearly every way, especially when compared to Tokyo's and Disneyland's shows.

    MARVEL at WDW?

I think it's fair to say Kilimanjaro raised the bar, certainty a unique attraction. They had a huge chance with both the Test Track and EMV ride systems but kind of struck out on content in those attractions. But for the last 11 years, yes. No bar-raising. Now lots of catch-up.

    MARVEL at WDW?

Just throwing out there that Universal is far ahead of any Orlando competition at this point with large projects completed and large projects underway or coming soon in every area of the resort. They don't need to keep pace with anyone. Disney, well...

    No more Wishes?

:dazzle: So 2013 before we get new fireworks and no chance of a parade until after that. They really should take Share a Celebrated Dream Come True whatever parade out of its misery. What are they waiting for? The 50th?!

PHOTOS - 'Something Silver' store construction underway at Downtown Disney

There it is. A jewelry store like this, Apricot Lane and stores similar to them may be good stores. But they are stores I can find at my local mall. The reason stores like this work at Downtown Disney Anaheim is that with such a large local guest base, Downtown Disney is like a local mall...

Some activity heating up for EPCOT's 30th...

All that by next October?! :ROFLOL: All of those projects sound like the dreams of fans anyway, but there is no way all of those would be completed before, on or around the time of Epcot's 30th.

There are more times than that when parking becomes tight. Usually pretty busy when golf comes to town in October. But, yes, for the most part parking is never a problem. Especially down by the West Side. The lot past Cirque is always very empty.

Yeah, but how much of that filled the empty space on PI? And Paradiso and Raglan don't count toward the bold, new vision because those were put in to motion before the clubs closed. And I don't buy the parking excuse because somehow they had room for the PI guests.

    SpectroMagic being prepped for return..

^ I love a good Dolphins jab. On the subject of this thread, I really want a NEW nighttime parade with, you know, 21st century technology. But I realize that won't happen and I want Spectro back on the streets.

Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain Refurb?

^ The Tiki Room should be ok, unless they've already let that go. The Speedway should also be running just fine. :lookaroun

JT, they are not moving slow. They are not moving at all. No positive progress. Just some store shuffling.

PHOTOS - Downtown Disney upgrades continue

The good news in all of this is that some of the acts on PI have signed new 1 year contracts. So as of right now, one more year of plywood stages covered in tin with a couple guys with instruments next to a mic! Who needs the world class entertainement we once had on PI? And why use the...

Props removed from Adventurers Club, signage removed from Bet Soundstage and Comedy

Possible. But Steve seemed to think the buildings would need to be demolished. But some AC props are in FL, with nowhere else to go.

Props removed from Adventurers Club, signage removed from Bet Soundstage and Comedy

First, the letters appear to be "carved" in to the facade. They were filled in, not taken down. Second, an announcement is coming shortly, if Staggs is to be believed. Disney management, at this point knows what they are doing at PI, if that is true. They know what buildings are going and...

Props removed from Adventurers Club, signage removed from Bet Soundstage and Comedy

What's tacky about it? AC will look like a warehouse now. I'd rather have a building that at least looks alive outside. Let's not forget they took some AC props away already. Why didn't they get rid of the signage then? Why the urgency now?

Props removed from Adventurers Club, signage removed from Bet Soundstage and Comedy

He really isn't though. In one post, he says the work on the AC is low cost and quick. Then he says in another post that more money has come in to tidy things up. And he says they are taking the signs down because the clubs are closed. He must be forgetting they have been closed for 3...

That is THE only explanation I can make with common sense and facts.
