Yes. The shuttle drop off/pedestrian arrival to Disneyland from Harbor Blvd has always been subpar since the Resort expanded. I was hoping the Eastern Gateway project would have finally provided some enhancement to this area.

Take a look at the un themed costuming building that borders Disneyland’s bus stop plaza. This is indeed another example of Tokyo Disney doing something that, while not needed, definitely enhances the area.

The side view is just not good. It looks very much like two buildings grafted together when it should look more like one structure. I do very much like the front view, as one can not see the large physical gap between the old castle and the new section.

Mountains are larger than castles, so the scale never was an issue for me. I loved Sleeping Beauty Castle in that setting. Having said that, I can’t wait until I’m able to return to the park to see this castle in person. It looks majestic. I don’t think it will top Paris however.

That’s what one would expect Disney to do when given the time and money a project of this scale should receive.

Paradise Pier didn’t have beach boys music since around the time that Toy Story Mania opened in 2008. Pixar Pier’s music should have been original arrangements of Pixar music. It seems like they just used soundtrack CDs and pushed play.

There were MANY cancellations when Maelstrom, Frozen, Ratatouille & France were released. Those were only 100 each. I’m not sure about any other sets.

My 12:02am order has been canceled. hope this doesn’t happen for The Land posters. I still am so thankful that I was able to get Maelstrom, Universe of Energy and Imagination with no problems.

Disney should build a tiny bug sized “a bugs land” and hide it in a planter somewhere near there. Maybe even have the lands area music or spiels play softly.

I agree, although “Disney” is better than “Land” and “World”. Who started that?

I’m hardly Pixar Pier’s harshest critic but with the Pixar overlay they took a couple steps forward but then took a few giant somersaults backwards.

I like a lot about it but my biggest issue is the side view. The original castle seems separate from the new. It’s like Sleeping Beauty Castle is wearing a giant castle backpack.

It’s scale alone makes it the most charming of the three Asia magic kingdoms. Tokyo Disneyland and especially Shanghai Disneyland are massive magic kingdom parks, one of the last words I would use to describe them is “charming”.

The prize giveaway was part of the Year of a Million Dreams, which also lasted two years. This was after the 50th.

Since you have already visited three Magic Kingdom parks, give DisneySea your extra time. Yes, Tokyo Disneyland has many unique attractions and it is, overall, my favorite of the six magic kingdoms. You'll have time to experience them.

That’s exactly what it was always meant to be. New Orleans Square progresses from the cities, to the plantations, and then Critter Country transitions us into bayou country. So, short term, I can’t really see Disney spending $$$ and over complicate things when there is no need to. However...
