    Minnie Vans Gone For Good?

Probably because the department costs a FORTUNE to run.

I could possibly do that if my kids were older. But since my kids are 2-8 years old, and I would take them when my husband was at work so it was just me alone entertaining the kiddos in line and holding the toddler when she was tired, going just to wait in a couple of 45-60 minute lines isn’t...

I mean, I’m personally on team “Revert back to FP+” although I know better than to expect that to ever happen. So given your two options, I prefer they just raise the price to UOR prices - make it SO expensive that the number of people in the lightning lane doesn’t really affect the standby...

I hate that resort guests get all the ILLs. I live 2 miles away, so if I wanted an ILL, I either just don’t ever get one, or I shell out hundreds of dollars to sleep in a bed that I don’t need since I live nearby. That is a SUPER expensive way to skip the line. Even with FP+, I was never bitter...

My theory is that it was guest who only ever heard VoL sing for that one show, and that was the only song in that particular set that mentioned God. I really have no idea though, but that’s the only thing I can think of that makes sense. I just don’t think they were regulars who were intimately...

But then it says something along the lines of “It would tell them we had moral law, and that we had grown strong under God’s mighty hand.” And someone got their panties in a wad over that part.

They already cut the “penny” speech from “My Country ‘Tis of Thee” after a guest wrote a letter complaining about the “in God we trust“ portion. It only takes one person to complain for Disney to cancel something.

Yeah, they’re trying to have more modern songs and get rid of some of the older Americana - there are a handful of songs that won’t be coming back. I think the main line of reasoning was that certain songs, and maybe even the colonial look, is becoming too…“problematic.” 🙄 but I do think these...

I don’t think they’re coming back. They’ve been removed from costuming. Disney has been wanting a more modern look for Voices for a while now. Guess this was their opportunity to ditch the colonial wear. 😭😭😭

no more protective sleeves (for now) with lightsabers.

I was taking some photos of a little girl having a princess makeover during her family’s vacation a week or two ago, and the dad had a droid he had built during their trip. He was telling me how they ran out of two different parts (I don’t know what they were), and he was pretty upset. He, too...

Looks like VoL is returning to the rotunda this Sunday. Wonder how that will work with the indoor mask mandate? Guess they’ll wear masks? 🤷🏻‍♀️

But last year they went into rehearsals for the stage show again, for shows that were already on the schedule a week or two out. No one is rehearsing, and as far as I know, none of the cast have heard what the plan is (at least as of a few days ago).

Anyone know what’s going on with VoL? Even one of the singers said “no word yet” now that candlelight is over. Very unusual since they would normally be back to their normal sets, or at least be in brush up rehearsals for their normal sets. They don’t even show up on the app if you search for...

I’m sure Disney is eager to get rid of riffraff guests like myself to make room for other guests with deeper pockets. As a local, I would often bring my young children to Disney 1 to 2 times a week. I would get our three fast passes, we would do those three, and then maybe a show or an...

Disney to mandate full vaccinations to employees

Where there is risk, there must be choice. It’s like mandating penicillin anytime you need antibiotics. That doesn’t work for everyone. No one medicine/vaccine/treatment works for everyone. And for some, a certain medicine/vaccine/treatment can be disastrous.
