News Disney World's Splash Mountain closing in January 2022 for refurbishment

Why would they have to close Splash during re-theme if just to prevent RR guests from looking in RR windows to see work? Just paint (inside) the windows and put lights on them to highlight "memorable" parts of Splash. It also could be interesting if lights cast shadows of moving workers or set...

    Need help deciding!!

Since you asked, 4 nights is probably too short to really enjoy the ship and your destinations. Likewise, the Caribbean may not provide a very interesting itinerary. Castaway Cay is fun, but hardly a reason to choose one cruise over another. Even the 5 night European cruise might be too short...

Mask Mandate: Baby turns 2 on the last day of our visit...

So is the consensus that having a lighted sign that states a child has turned 2, with a downward pointing arrow to the child, something that should be avoided?

News Magic Kingdom 4:30pm close in May 2022 (originally January 25 2022)

Who is less intelligent? A business that closes its business early or the customers that decide that is the only date/time they can possibly visit that particular business?

Iconic Purple Directional Signs Being Replaced

If you are going to post a comparison using PA signs, please post Gothic and Clearview pictures of the misspelled signs that were directing drivers to the town of Ephrata. Please know that these misspelled signs were actually installed and it took a certain volume of calls to get them removed.

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Actual question, if kids attend school but there is a teacher/sub shortage, does that count towards the "instructional day" number? Likewise, what if many/most of the cafeteria food staff is out with the infection. That second question applies to either/both schools and WDW.

Flying into Tampa with very short layover in Charlotte, NC

Does a pp mean 90 min (sic mim) to go 60 miles or does the pp mean 60 minutes to go 92 miles? If it is the later, didn't WDW get rid of the racetrack featured by the MK parking area?

    Reasons for separate MDE accounts?

Is creating a "profile" for a 13 yo on an account held by an older account holder somehow different than creating an "account" for a 13 yo by his or her self?

    Kungaloosh!!!

Even if VR AC was a concept, in today's pandemic would people crowd together with strangers to wear gear recently worn by others? Until there is cost-effective disposable VR gear, it is hard to imagine that idea taking hold. Now a shop offering "limited" AC based merchandise, perhaps featuring...

Some additional options to consider. Path behind Tomorrowland to train station if it must be in MK. Tom Sawyer Island also may be sparsely occupied. Her favorite park undoubtedly has a few "less populated" areas. Disney Springs or Skyway may have less attended spots that could serve the...

You're going to pay to ride.

To borrow and modify a quote from a movie to apply to the above, one could say the Na'vi boat ride is a tremendous slouch. No need to be humble about it.

Not aware of any with 3 beds, except bunk beds at Wilderness Lodge, which is a Deluxe resort and certainly not budget friendly.
