We had 5 in our room, one deck below regular topside, midship. We all fit in room but it was extremely noisy in daytime as deck chairs were dragged across the deck. Nights were nearly silent. Nobody commented on feeling any motion of the ship. As we were rarely in our room during daylight hours...

Once upon a time, what you felt was what really mattered, and what WDW aimed for. Now, they seem to think it is what you see that matters. Even though it may be harder to monetize emotions, perhaps it generates repeat business that brute commercialism never will. Oh well.

Agree that DAK is CURRENTLY the winner in what park this family would choose. Be warned, however, that the park will radically change and be neutered, like DHS and EPCOT have been, as it ages. Things that are here now will be gone and not replaced with anything of value all too soon.

This room decor homogenization is just a prelude to the sale of the rooms to another operator which seemingly is all too apparent. TWDC will then only have the parks to operate, until they too are sold. Gotta keep those shareholders happy.

Soon will be the day when going to WDW will be like a day at Six Flags, with only a price differential. How soon? TBD
