If you're asking if there will be children on the ship, the answer is yes.

This isn't the proper site to discuss UK truancy laws. If you have questions regarding Disney Cruise Line in general, its ships, itineraries, etc., then you've found an excellent site.

Yes, there will be children on the cruise. And not just from the UK.

In the UK primary school is from 4/5 to 11/12.
You are correct there are different dates for the 4 nations but not all areas have exactly the same dates.

Many private schools will start much later for a start. And some schools will grant an absence from school for various reasons.

Some younger children might not even attend nursery.

I think it’s reasonable to assume that there will always be children on a Disney cruise.

This person is claiming to be sailing from Southampton, and if that's true, it's very possible that English is not his/her primary language. I agree that some of these posts have be somewhat strange in nature (especially the diapers in the pools. . .). But it's possible that it's a first cruise for someone whose English is as good as my German. (That means, "not at all good" :) )

They’re also contradictory though, since in some it’s just the poster and their mum and in others they have an 8 year old child.

I do wonder though why they don’t want UK kids on the cruise yet they’re taking their own child. 🤔

I agree that there's definitely some contradiction in the posts. But again, it's possible that it's due to a language barrier. I'm trying to be generous, since it's a new poster. But yes, there's something weird going on in his/her posts.

To be fair, there have been a lot of new threads, but they're not all asking the same thing. Could they all be consolidated into one thread with all of his/her questions in one place? Sure. But s/he's not just asking the same thing over and over again.
Just noticed they have been popping a lot. And I don’t hang around DCL.

I’ll go now. 🏕️

I don't disagree, but the half dozen bizarre posts are not just foreign but otherworldly.. "Will we be picked for game shows?" Who knows there are only couple thousand other people on the ship.
