    MagicBands WILL become a thing...

Well after seeing the packaging and how absolutely cool a Mickey head makes a plain plastic wristband look, I'm sold. The $1.5+ billion was well spent. I would now much rather have the band/app system than say, an imaginative Imagination Pavilion and a new country in World Showcase, or a...

Fastpass+, a solution to "overwhelmingly negative" responses from families

"Most terrifying experience?" As a Marine Corps and Army veteran, I can't even shake my head at that level of hyperbole. That is absolutely #$%$% %%^&^%$ !!@#ing STUPID. Unless you lost a family member (accidental type of experience like happened very recently) or got separated from a child at...

$500 million being invested in the Studios?

I like the ideas of adding/expanding Pixar Place into a land as well as an expanded Lucas are. Dust and clean GMR; a good refresh. I also think they should do an animated version of the GMR where Mickey is the star of the show. Mickey needs his own attraction.

Downtown Disney expansion to be officially announced Tuesday 12 March

So back to Disney Springs and the restaurant offerings. It would really be nice if they would put in a "brew pub" or at least specialized in craft brews, preferably local. I don't know how the local O-town brewery scene so the last part may not be such a great idea. I absolutely love craft...

Downtown Disney expansion to be officially announced Tuesday 12 March

As someone mentioned before, Bobby Flay or Guy Feyrri being there would be great. A partnership with the Food Network and some of their on air folks would be sure to drive business. I'm pretty excited to see something that appears substantial being built, even though I would love to see more...

PHOTOS - Monorail Black receiving a wrap for Iron Man 3?

I personally would love to see the entire fleet of monorails wrapped. IN MY OPINION, I think the white train with the colored stripe is quite boring compared to the trains that were previously wrapped. Disneyland's trains look much better than WDW's because of color.

    Upcoming/Rumored Projects

A large part of my job involves using GIS (GeoSpatial Information Systems). While I don't work with the type of applications that WDW would require, I work with very similar ones. You are entirely correct that buses/boats/monorails can easily be tracked in real time along with near real time...

AVATAR land coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

Is there a 12 step program for Pixie Dust sniffing?

Where's George Kalogridis? -- The First 100 MAGICal Days!

With TDO in charge, if they could collect more $$$$ per ride, WDW would be filled with E-Tickets only....Stitch, Country Bears, All Parades, Philharmagic, Fireworks, walking into the Emprium, etc.

AVATAR land coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

I completely agree with you and wish to add one more point. "Contractors" over in the sandbox used whatever type of weaponry they wanted that the company provided. In Avatar, all of the non-military military people used the exact same weapons like an organized unit. It's a small distinction...

    Disney Develops New "Floating Omnimover"

That would work nicely for a Rhine River cruise ride at the Germany Pavilion....wait, sorry. That's in Florida; we couldn't have anything like that.

    New Concept for Off Kilter

At least they're not killing them off like they did with the groups at DAK. I miss the Village Beatnicks a lot. I would always catch a couple of set when we visited the park. Seeing them was what kept DAK on my "to do" list for every trip but since they have almost completely rid that park of...

Al Lutz: Carsland for WDW, FLE not Bringing in Guests

I would love a clone of RSR but am not really as interested in a full Cars Land. From seeing videos of the attraction, Radiator Springs is created inside anyway. I think RSR would be a great centerpiece/weenie for a fully imagined Pixar Place with attractions from the huge Pixar library. I...

Imagination! Being Replaced w. Dr. Doof?

I don't remember when exactly but it was in the first season of F & P that I looked at my wife and said that this show would a great overlay for the crap-tastic Imagination Pavilion that we have now. As much as I liked Figment, Dreamfinder is dead to 99% of the people who walk through the gates...

    New Disney Bus Paint Scheme

Add my vote to liking the new color scheme. It would be nice if they would do something to add "magic" to the inside; resort/park specific videos during the day and a "kiss good night" video for the ride back to the resort in the evening. When I'm staying at AKL (my favorite resort), I hate...

    Mine Ride Construction Update

That would have been great, especially with the lackluster Belle's village that they built. When they first announced Belle's Village, I was looking forward to another bakery in the MK, a book store, etc.

    Mine Ride Construction Update

If the speedway goes, I would love for them to put up walls and make an eerie Villains area with a couple of dark rides, a real e-ticket, along with the appropriate m&g's, food, and stores. During Mickey's Not So Scary, the bad guys/girls could escape from their land and take over the park...

Festival of the Lion King moving to Africa

Some have asked if Avatar will be relevant 10 years from now. I would suggest that Avatar is not relevant in popular culture now. I don't recall seeing anyone wear a blue people t-shirt anywhere. However, if it is a beautiful, fully encompassing environment with great attractions, I think it...
