Idk if this has been mentioned but I kinda feel like the only reason Disney is just now showing interest in a Villains land after decades of fans asking for it is because of Universal’s upcoming Classic Monsters Land.

Finally got to experience this in person. If I was a Marvel fan I would be really disappointed but I guess guests are satisfied with it so 🤷🏾. So many missed opportunities squandered by a really small footprint for a land!

I went to the parks today I haven’t been since 2017. I feel like DCA needs a lot more trees and green space. Also Rise of the Resistance is very cool. ALSO was hoping experiencing Avengers Campus in person would change my mind about it. It did not. They def need to expand that into Hollywoodland.

Theres definitely a larger misunderstanding of what the parks are throughout the company considering the person that lead the discussion about Moana and Zootopia in DAK was from WDAS

Not even really it literally ties into all three. Several things exist currently in the park that honestly are no different than Zootopia other than the animal not wearing clothes and living in a city lol.

Its beyond pick and choosey on this forum for no other reason than not wanting more IP in the park which is understandable, but I wish that would just be admitted. Like you said there are several IPs already in the park AND recommended for the park that have less to do with DAK's supposed themes.

I feel like nature in the movie was all encompassing and a major theme of the film was the harmony between all aspects of life. So I never really felt that animals were necessarily absent. their appearances reinforce nature as a single entity (Moana's grandmother returning as a manta ray) IMO...

Exactly I feel like people are purposely not mentioning that part of the movie’s plot lol.

I feel like the themes of Animal Kingdom and Moana match up pretty well.
