Would you visit Walt Disney World with these health-based operational restrictions in place?

That's a bit soon. Assuming it takes a week or more for a major "Typhoid Mary" infector to visit the park, rather than on day one, it can still take up to 14 days for symptoms to appear in those who it spread to. Some will have mild symptoms and others may have none. Those who do have a bad case...

The world is full of them, and they all have one thing in common. They love WDW.

I wore a mask while doing some cleaning for an elderly friend of the family. It was 74°F and my upper lip was covered in sweat in about 10 minutes. Unfortunately, many if not most will be wearing a tissue thin mask like most people you see around the community. They probably won't have a problem...

Nice to know your little corner of the world is so different. Probably safest to stay there. Stories from friends and family all over the country are complete opposite, including in Florida.

They did that in hopes people wouldn't just let their insurance expire on a car or two if they drove less. It wasn't to be nice. It was a tactic.

Man, there is so much good stuff on this thread that is cracking me up. We need to rename it "The Laugh Floor". Keep it going, people. You're monsters of comedy!

Yes, some of us realize that it's a sham and a farce. The mask regulation, as currently presented in that video, is heavy on irritating and short on helpful in protecting park visitors.

To be honest, pools are probably safer than theme park rides. Research pool shock chemicals. Viruses don't stand a chance living in that stuff.

That's the point. They haven't figured out how to do it safely yet. The video shows that. If you have ideas please share them. Disney clearly could use them.

The point of a mask is not to protect the wearer. It's to stop someone who is carrying the virus but does not know it or is not displaying symptoms severe enough for them to notice/be excluded by the "health screening" process from spreading virus out of their mouth through coughing, breathing...

I'm all for the rules. Actually, I'm for improvements on those inadequate rules. The problem is they won't be followed and/or are not going to prevent people from spreading the virus. Have you been to a grocery store? They also have rules that no one follows.

So, several parts of this video made me laugh out loud at how idiotic the procedures are and how they absolute do nothing if not undermine the points of handwashing/social distancing/mask wearing. If this is their idea of how to operate WDW, we are in for a world of trouble. 1) The mask is...

Rumor Spaceship Earth Redo Shelved Indefinitely

The point people were making was "don't make something for people to touch and they won't touch anything". It takes no longer to wipe a screen than it does any other part of the ride. In fact, it's probably the easiest part of the ride vehicle to disinfect. That's the point, not why people touch...

Rumor Spaceship Earth Redo Shelved Indefinitely

If you all think that people are not touching things in a ride vehicle just because a touchscreen is disabled you're dreaming. People are touching all kinds of areas. Getting in the car many people put their hands on the seat or seat back. During the ride some reposition themselves which may...

    WDW Reopening Estimates

Except the prize for your Golden Ticket is a lifetime supply of memories of a trip to a place you've been many times before. Only this time it's way less fun with the restrictions, inability to ride your favorite rides, eat at your favorite restaurants, and the stress of idiots and children all...

    WDW Reopening Estimates

Today I was about to abandon my cart and leave our local Walmart. They have stickers all over the store floor showing what 6ft of distance is, encouraging masks, and they even have stickers on the floor for one-way cart and foot traffic in aisles. They even put DO NOT ENTER signs at the exit...
