Assuming that it's the same ride technology as was used in Shanghai POC, the boats can move faster and slower - and theoretically stop. They can also rotate and move sideways - even backwards - in theory. I have heard nothing about how much of this technology will actually be used in the ride.

I know several months ago someone did the math and 3 showings of ROL would have roughly the same capacity of 2 showings of F! I think the 2 or 3 (during busy times) model is probably the most likely.

They are desperate to add something - anything - Marvel into WDW and GotG is about the only IP they can use. It's "kind of" futuristic, and it's Future World, so I guess that all that Disney needs these days.

Test Track was NOT an improvement over World of Motion. An unthrilling thrill ride replacing a classic dark ride. To me its like ripping out SE and replacing it with a "family" roller coaster...

Of course there was the "chicken and vegetables" pizza that I had at Tokyo DL. The veggies were green pepper, black olive, and corn niblets. The sauce was a fluorescent yellow curry sauce. Curry and mozzarella do NOT belong on the same dish...

For the most part I hate WDW QS pizza and won't touch it. PP, on the other hand, was tolerable and was about the only QS in DHS that I would eat. If I was a gambling sort of person, and knowing how Disney has been doing things lately, I guessing it will be the exact same pizza in a re-themed...

My heart goes out to you that you find this gentle attraction boring and can only do it once or twice a year. For those of us who only get to WDW once every 2 or 3 or 5 years, it's a rather pleasant addition and a nostalgic reminder of our first visits to the park in the 70s and 80s.
