I doubt it's any different than security ushering people out at the end of a concert, etc. The only people who are doing anything wrong are the people without party wristbands who AREN'T being ushered out. That's who we'll save our scorn for.

Do you think that happens a lot? I don't know. But I agree it seems lika good idea, and should make it easier for people to make ADRs. I'm always very good about cancelling reservations ASAP if I know I won't need them.
