Planning a trip for August. Been to WDW many times, never been to either water park. This is the year! Wondering what the major differences are between the two, rides, food, etc. which would you pick if you were only visiting one? Also, when is "Misfortune Falls" expected to open?

If you look at some of the photos, the ground is wet in very specific places in tight formations, directly underneath floating mountains. I believe they run them (waterfalls) before park open and the residual is on the concrete.

A shame...... You'd think after all these years, these mistakes would have been eliminated. Especially repeats!

My kids and I loved this! We looked forward to it on multiple trips and even got the grandparents involved one year! BOO to Disney for eliminating things like this, and sum of all thrills and other innoventions exhibits. This is what EPCOT used to be, and SHOULD be.

Why did Disney cancel this? Can't imagine them discontinuing an upcharge event, this had to be popular! Any suggestions for alternatives during marathon weekend without a ressie?
