News Space 220 Restaurant dining experience at Epcot's Future World

I love the look of it all, better than the last preview we got but the white lighting vs. the darker blue lighting in the concept art doesn't look nearly as good. I know it's nitpicking but hopefully, they can tone down the lighting a bit.

News 'Disney Enchantment' coming to Magic Kingdom October 1 2021

I can't find it, but they did the same thing a few years ago during the daytime due to an unusually early closing time due to an impending hurricane.

News Splash Mountain retheme to Princess and the Frog - Tiana's Bayou Adventure

While I like that idea, I think many people forget that Big Thunder is its own dead end so whatever themed area Splash currently sits in would have to be stretched down there too, and retheming Big Thunder to anything else other than what it is wouldn't work because the attraction doesn't...

Crowd Control; But at What Cost?

I'll one up you; the group of 25 all wearing neon orange or green shirts walking side by side blocking the pathways 😂

Crowd Control; But at What Cost?

I actually agree with you here, but the issue is they're removing them altogether which in return worsens the atmosphere. If you asked a guest on a hot Florida summer day which they would rather have, 5 sq feet of shade or 5 sq feet of walking room the answer would be pretty easy.

Crowd Control; But at What Cost?

Don't tempt the executives like that!

What happened to the fireworks at Hollywood Studios?

An aerial image from earlier this year still shows the launch site being maintained. The big fireworks were still being launched from here as recently as January 2020 for Jingle Bell Jingle Bam so the question still remains as to why the big fireworks weren't being utilized in the regular Star...

Crowd Control; But at What Cost?

After reading the recent Blog Mickey article below, I thought it'd be a great opportunity to talk about the extent Disney has been going to, to reduce crowd congestion and how it affects the experience of visiting overall. The article shows a perfectly fine tree had just been cut down which...

News Refurbishment coming soon to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort - Moana details to be included

The timeline of this whole project always seemed off to me. It was announced when everything in the parks and other resorts was still cut due to covid like construction expenses etc but this massive project was approved? Was it possible they had to budget cut the project in order for it to be...

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

This is what raises the biggest questions for me. The pathway from Storybook Circus -which is only about a person wide- is bordered by the queue for Barnstormer and the railroad neither of which can necessarily be moved easily. The only other pathway is the one bordering the Light and Power Co...

What's going to happen with Annual Passes?

Ah yes, a magic key that likely limits benefits and restricts access to the parks to prioritize higher spending non-locals to boost quarterly earnings but in the long run will deter locals -the financial backbone of the west coast resort- How magical!

Big top tent refurbishments about to begin in Storybook Circus at Magic Kingdom

Looks like they're either cleaning the tents or applying a sealant on the tents first. I wonder if they will paint them eventually. It almost seems like replacing the material might be easier but I'm sure far more costly. I know the material isn't like actual tent material, these are laid over...

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

If you match it up with Shanghai's version there's definitely a structure (circled in red) that they have that WDW doesn't but WDW also doesn't have the space for that structure either. So maybe its just a smaller version of it being built here?

    The Tipping Point For Change

You are right. Most new offerings in the parks are geared towards those who know Disney shows, movies, etc, and not the parks themselves. This then brings in people who had absolutely no idea how the parks looked or operated years or decades ago which allows Disney to subtlety stop making...

News PHOTOS - Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom to receive enhancements this summer

They won't be able to fix it. The piece was slid into supports that were installed months ago so the supports themselves are likely the ones causing the slight misalignment and therefore the supports would also need to be re drilled into the castle facade for a fix...

The World's Most Magical Celebration - Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary

If it is crooked, there is nothing they can do about it unfortunately because all of the supports for it, where it basically slides into were placed there months ago. So it would be the support holes that would be crooked. I think it may just be the angle of the pictures though.

Could Disney Worlds new commercial be a sneak peak for Disney Enchantment soundtrack?

I would love for the very beginning of the show to be music-based and not narrated I think that would be pretty cool. Also that clock sound would sound amazing starting the show but given that the 50th placard will be over the clock I'm not too sure how that would be achieved.

I really miss The Walt Disney World Railroad

I miss the railroad simply because it takes away people from the walkways of the parks. With three huge trains running and multiple stations, the train attraction in its entirety can likely hold a few thousand people at capacity.

GotG:MB was not a direct result of Iger/Chapek wanting to stuff IP in the parks

ding! 🔔ding! 🔔ding!🔔 we have a winner! Disney parks blog and PR will cover up and lie about projects and canceled announcements until the cows come home simply to make it look like they were never wrong to begin with. (Need I mention their flat out denial of a Moana retheme to tiki room only to...
