For a land most originally said they weren't interested in ................

Wasn't in the least bit interested when it was announced. Now...still not in the least bit interested. I saw the movie. I enjoyed it. Have no desire to watch it again or see a sequel. No doubt, it sold a lot of tickets, but keep a few things in perspective. It was the largest Imax and 3D...

Changes to bus transportation for the water parks begins this weekend

Weird. I was at Coronado a couple weeks ago and they had busses to BB.

Changes to bus transportation for the water parks begins this weekend

I just read about this yesterday. There will no longer be bus service from the Animal Kingdom Lodge to Blizzard Beach. Guests will have to take a bus to Animal Kingdom, then transfer and take a bus to Blizzard Beach from there. Sorry but this is absolutely ridiculous. I don't even stay at Animal...

Port Orleans Riverside Vs Wilderness Lodge.. (Poll)

I didn't care for MB but loved AB. Room decor was much more my taste.

    Wilderness Lodge construction questions

    Is that on both sides?

    Wilderness Lodge construction questions

That stinks about the lobby elevators. Is there any other disruption in the lobby itself.

    Wilderness Lodge construction questions

Was just hoping someone could give me some information on how the construction is disrupting certain areas. I know Roaring Fork is closed. Is it much of a mess down there? Can you still walk down there to get to the elevators? Also, is the beach totally closed off? Or can you still go down there...

Port Orleans Riverside Vs Wilderness Lodge.. (Poll)

We just switched to WL since we got a discount. POR is great, but WL is on a whole other level.

    Polynesian Studio or Standard Room

If we stayed in a studio, we'd be renting points and saving about $1,500. There's a chest right in front of the sofa that you can put clothes in.

    Polynesian Studio or Standard Room

It's not the space that's the issue. Studios are 50 square feet bigger. I just don't care for the room decor. Honestly, it's one major reason we never joined DVC. I don't care for the decor of any of the Studios as much as the standard rooms. And I really don't like the kitchen sink in the...

Why is the MDE app still so terrible?

I have an Android and I was very impressed by how well the app worked when I was there a couple of weeks ago.

    BREAKING CSR NEWS!

I don't like this idea at all. The Moderates have a nice, resort atmosphere to them. A high rise tower will not compliment it well.

News Coronado Springs Expansion - Gran Destino Tower

Plenty of high rises in Mexico, just not at Coronado. Doesn’t fit in with Casitas, Cabanas or Ranchos.

News Coronado Springs Expansion - Gran Destino Tower

I like the bridges idea, but a tower seems completely out of place and against the theme of the resort.

    Best Moderate to Stay in?

CSR had excellent bus service. I also really liked the pool bar. I prefer the lounge and food court at Riverside to CSR.

    Best Moderate to Stay in?

I think it depends on which section you're in, and what time (or if) you're in El Centro. The Casitas tend to be full of them. Walk from there to El Centro in the morning and there's a bunch either hanging out smoking, or walking and discussing work, etc. Once inside Pepper Market, you see them...

    Best Moderate to Stay in?

As others have said, mostly comes down to theme. That being said, my favorite mod is Riverside. 1. Boat to Disney Springs. 2. No conventioners. Coronado tends to feel pretty business like. 3. Alligator Bayou rooms sleep 5. 4. Nighttime entertainment at Riverside is perfect for the family.

    Planet Hollywood Observatory

Please don't let my opinion change your mind. You may love it. I know a lot of people didn't care for the old PH. I loved it. As a movie buff, it was very cool. Plus, it was a first night tradition for me, so I was going to be hard on it anyway. I always found the original to be exciting. Just...

    Planet Hollywood Observatory

Went last week. Definitely disappointed in the redo. Menu isn't much different but the fun, Hollywood feel of PH is gone. New decor inside is modern, but bland. Fits right into the rest of Disney Springs. In all fairness, we didn't go upstairs at all. The huge screen is cool, but given they play...

WDW looks like a construction zone

I get it. My point is simply, don't bite off more than you can chew. The fact is, WDW is a complete resort destination, or is supposed to be. Don't start so many projects that it takes away the enjoyment of the area. Imagine a Sandals resort that was a complete mess. Years ago, when Disney had...
