Went last week. Definitely disappointed in the redo. Menu isn't much different but the fun, Hollywood feel of PH is gone. New decor inside is modern, but bland. Fits right into the rest of Disney Springs. In all fairness, we didn't go upstairs at all. The huge screen is cool, but given they play 90% pop music videos, not much to see.

I'm glad, I guess, that you gave this review...We are going in November, and I was really looking forward to the new theme, but after seeing the clip of the interior, and looking at the menu, I think we will skip it...I honestly thought that it would be more of a T-Rex type of theme, with lots of space related décor...I am REALLY looking forward to the Edison restaurant/bar...the whole "steampunk" vibe...I hope they don't disappoint!

Please don't let my opinion change your mind. You may love it. I know a lot of people didn't care for the old PH. I loved it. As a movie buff, it was very cool. Plus, it was a first night tradition for me, so I was going to be hard on it anyway. I always found the original to be exciting. Just didn't get that from the redo.

We had initially booked it for our May trip, however I changed our booking when I double-checked the menu and found that there was no options for DS4.

We decided to book Rainforest Cafe instead - unless there's a cancellation at T-Rex, this will be our choice.

Sorry to bump this oldish thread.

Planet Hollywood would usually be our go-to table service choice as we never believe we have enough time to do this regularly - the movie props and the atmosphere are the main reasons we go to PH but has it changed that much? ive read a few poor reviews that it isn't the same - is it worth going back to in 2018?

We went in May and looked at the menu before going on in. $18.99 for a hamburger, $4.99 fries and $8 for a milkshake. Multiply that by two then a decent tip and you are getting close to $75 for lunch. Not gonna happen. We did not even go in so I can't comment on the new decor. We did enjoy the old movie stuff on display in the past.
