News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

I expect most of Dinoland to go down in the next 3 months, but AK management will probably be pushing to keep Dinosaur and restaurantosaurus open as long as possible. This should be possible as both are getting an overlay and Dinosaur is presumably keeping the same ride system and track layout...

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

Not an insider, but I would expect Dinosaur to close ~18 months before the land is ready to open. For a 2027 opening you are looking between a June 2025-July 2026 close to make that happen depending on when in 2027 it would be opening. However, maybe this is more ambitious and needs more time...

After reading the last few pages? Is this the Monsters DHS addition?

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

I would love for the AC>RNRC expansion to go one of 2 ways. A) Toontown filled with A-C tickets (think DLR fantasyland) with Powerline RNRC B) Super Hero zone with BH6, Incredibles in RNRC, Dr. Strange, and anything else they can legally use

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

And let the park go down to 4 rides for 2+ years? Dino and the restaurant don't need nearly as long as Enchanto to build

If it was me... Phase 1: Cut out carnival games Phase 2: looses gift shop and Triceratops Phase 3: looses Bone yard Finally Phase 4: the rest of the land

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

100%, I just didn't include it because 2 rides have been announced. I'm kind of sad they couldn't save DINOSAUR and make C&H ice age themed. Back to Monsters Inc... As much as people don't like it, I have to imagine Disney is thinking of doing something Simpsons long term and DHS is the only...

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Sorry I meant X-men not F4. I don't know the ins and outs of that universal contract other than some properties are known not be able for use at WDW, but there are quite a few gray area ones (like deadpool) that are closely associated with things found at UOR, but are not explicitly there.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Sorry meant at WDW. I didn't list all the avengers stuff because they don't have the rights to it at WDW. I think that includes deadpool due to his association with fantastic 4

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

I think the top grossing franchises that Disney owns, but isn't currently using in the parks are: Ice Age (6.42 billion) The Simpsons (4.9 billion) [Don't have the rights at the moment] Inside out (2.61 billion) The Incredibles (2.37 billion) Planet of the Apes (2.27 billion) Zootopia is ~$1...

New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Sorry, whooshed over my head! I even thought as I was typing that Splash knows that won't work!

New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

I know what the Universal rules are. I'm just saying with a 10-month-old, I would rather be alone with him for 45mins in a park with access to distractions, his stroller, entertainment, freedom of movement, and most importantly bathrooms/changing tables. We were able to do the rider swap during...

New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

If by "Ailment" you mean diagnosis/type of disability. They really can't do that because they can't ask for proof. If you start saying anyone with X can have DAS. Suddenly lots of people have "X" that actually don't.

News Announced: Mary Poppins Attraction in UK Pavilion

I don't know if Disney is even considering this, but you could put a line where the current Donald M&G is and have the show building behind the Frozen M&G (disconnected from the pyramid)

News Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours coming for resort guests

True... but Tiana's is currently the newest thing in MK and is the hardest to get LL in the park. Once it's standby opens I imagine it will be the biggest rope drop crowd.

News Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours coming for resort guests

I'm surprised Philharmagic, COP, and ITTBAB are still holding on. It will also be interesting once Tiana's is more stable and on Standby that JC, Tiana, and Big Thunder will all not be available.

New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

I think Disney vs Universal rider switch both have their pros and cons. I went last year with just my wife and 10 month old son. I preferred Disney's method as one of us was able to take care of the baby while the other waited in the standby/vq. In universal's model we would have needed to...

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

Yeah, not saying anyone would actually do this, but you could have in theory saved $9 per person today. Although today both parks opened at 8am, so no way to do it and rope drop MK.

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

There is no guarantee that canceling your other 2 pre-books will show availability for a specific ride, but it does improve your odds. EPCOT today is open for 12 hours and gives out LLs every 5 mins for 11.5 of those hours (no new LL windows open in the last 30 mins). So, there are 230 different...
