News New Gondola Transportation - Disney Skyliner -

Presumably they're opening around the same time the Riviera opens, right? Opening earlier and having a high flying view of construction on their new, hyped up system doesn't exactly seem like something they'd want.

Rumor Stitch's Great Escape Replacement— Don’t Hold Your Breath

It closed fully a couple months before Sum of All Thrills, but was used for the Epcot 35th merchandise booth depending on how technical you wanna be about whether a single day counts as it not being abandoned. Other than a handful of technical things being removed it's all still there I'm pretty...

News Whirlpool brand is the Official Kitchen and Laundry Appliance of Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort

Whatcha mean? After riding Sum of All Thrills before it closed, I absolutely went out to buy a military-grade radar system and some Tomahawk missiles.

Holidays at Disney's Hollywood Studios 2018

I'm not immensely familiar with how pond dyes work, but chances are a darker color would just mean using more of the same dye, which could potentially cause issues with animals. It's safe when used as directed, but I'm not sure about going over that. Might be an issue with whatever irrigation...

    Sum of All Thrills Returning?

Everything's still there as far as you can see from the rest of Innoventions, nothing's changed really.

    Rumor New Monorails Coming Soon?

I quite liked the Zootopia wrap. It made the most sense out of any of them really.

News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

The construction out by the monorail platform, not much to see yet. Also, the Nanooze area in Innoventions seems to be getting an upgrade. There's now a "nano slider" in a formerly empty spot. Each slider looks to have a screen, and goes from "small" to "smaller" to "nano." Isn't online yet.

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

From today. A view of the transition tunnel, including some new scaffolding. Work on the panels on the gravity building. Some panels installed on the West side of the building, including a door. On the inside, some various equipment. I believe these are being removed, not install. Some...

Star Wars Land Opening Date Contest

June 30th (technically 29th), a day before a new fiscal quarter started up. I really have zero expectation that SWL will be even previewing to anyone by the end of September, let alone be open, but hey, September 30th is a nice sounding date.

Star Wars Land Opening Date Contest

Real early, but I'd guess September 30th. End of the fiscal year if they follow in Toy Story Land's footsteps.

News New Gondola Transportation - Disney Skyliner -

Are there gonna be any lights on the ground/towers between the CBR and DHS stations? Seems like it'll be pitch black for a good few minutes at night.

Grand Avenue and Baseline Tap House

Not sure what else it'd be, maybe the irrigation system was bad. The only other thing I could see them doing is connecting Tatooine Traders directly to Grand Avenue instead of having people walk around the corner. Seems silly though.

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

Looking at this again, I just realized that they have torn up the entire foundation for the pavilion fairly recently. I had figured part of the reason they were keeping the building was so they wouldn't need to pour a new foundation or anything, just build up from the old one. Guess not...

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

From today: The gravity building. Some steel and wood are at the front, waiting to be installed A tiny stairwell inside the building, separate from the huge one on the exterior. Also a Ladder sighting. The transition tunnel. No tracks or anything. "Be the reason someone got home safe...

News New Gondola Transportation - Disney Skyliner -

I imagine the cost of even a single monorail loop direct from IG to HS would be notably more expensive than the entire gondola system, even if they replace the cabins in 10-15 years.

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

From today: The tunnel between UoE and the gravity building is moving along. The former exits have been demolished. The tile still remains, though. The front of the building. They're digging up piping round here, probably either the irrigation around the planters, or for the connections to...

Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway confirmed

The left the exact date and time they took the photos inside those files, someone's getting caught real quick if they care. Also RIP to the hand print walls. At least some will probably stay.

News Odyssey becoming a flex space

There are just signs pointing you to Festival Center. Craft Beers is over there now, it was in The Odyssey the past couple years.

News Spaceship Earth closing early each day next week for planned maintenance

Nothing is really visually different other than some lighting changes. The backdrop that the paper boy in the newspaper scene is yelling at is notably brighter though, so much so that the paper boy's arm is casting a shadow on it. Not a great look. The prehistoric projection is dimmer than ever.

News Odyssey becoming a flex space

The Odyssey's windows and doors have all been blacked out, and the restrooms on the Future World side are closed off. No special event signs or anything.
