    Best snack

The store on the corner of Hollywood and Sunset that used to be the "Villain" store. The sweet/bake shop is in the entrance with the marquee. I think they also have them at the Trolley Car Cafe (the Starbucks).

    Best snack

I will second both the Cheshire cat-tails in MK and the massive carrot cake cookies at Sweet Spells. Weirdly one of my favorite cheap snacks (only a few bucks) is the Lefse at Kringla Bakeri -- a potato flatbread with butter and cinnamon sugar. Simple but a great pick me up.

Rumor Pixar's Coco coming to the Mexico Pavilion

For what it's worth, there's no shortage of Coco in the pavilion right now. The entryway area has a really beautiful new exhibit about Dia de los Muertos and the traditions depicted in the movie, and there's a new mariachi band that plays Coco songs outside. As well as it'd fit the river ride...

    BLACK PANTHER huge hit!

Different families and friends take different things away from films, clearly. If people didn't stay 'til the end, they definitely missed an important message. And an important cameo.

    BLACK PANTHER huge hit!

Actually it's an adaptation of The Magnificent Seven (which was an adaptation of Seven Samurai, etc etc) so I see what you mean. I also think that a lot of Black people consider this movie deeply empowering and inspiring because of its afro-centric themes.

    BLACK PANTHER huge hit!

I would suggest that you're seeing it from a defiantly caucasian perspective, considering that you insist it would be the exact same film if the black people were replaced by martians.

    BLACK PANTHER huge hit!

Yes, that's correct. You said that Happy Feet was the same sort of propaganda that Hitler used. There's really no other way to interpret that.

    BLACK PANTHER huge hit!

Given that you're literally now comparing Happy Feet to Nazi propaganda, I will simply say that I certainly hope you enjoy Black Panther, as it's a terrific film, and I will back away quietly.

    BLACK PANTHER huge hit!

No, Black Panther is a movie that someone offended by Zootopia will find especially offensive. As others have mentioned, it has explicit political themes, speaks to the Black condition in America and the world, and is about pan-African powerful women. It's a beautiful film but not one that...

    BLACK PANTHER huge hit!

Someone who thinks Happy Feet and Zootopia are leftist propaganda.

    BLACK PANTHER huge hit!

To be clear, if you were offended by the "politics" of Happy Feet or thought Zootopia was too "leftist", Black Panther will not be a comfortable movie for you to watch. It specifically criticizes people like yourself... and that's one of the reasons it's so popular.

Rumor Pixar's Coco coming to the Mexico Pavilion

That's honestly what I think -- that they try to focus on specific big-hit genres: right now it's Frozen for girls, Cars/Marvel for boys, Star Wars for teens/adults. Zootopia was a huge hit but I suppose it's harder to pigeonhole who its merch would be aimed at. There's virtually nothing for...

Rumor Pixar's Coco coming to the Mexico Pavilion

On the contrary, it's super popular. I saw homemade Zootopia shirts all over the park (since Disney didn't make any), and people cheering and freaking out when Nick Wilde went by in the parade. The DVD/Blu-Ray sold like crazy. It's one of their most popular films of the last ten years. But you...

    BLACK PANTHER huge hit!

Oh my gosh. SHOCKING!!! I had no idea that a fictional African nation is fictional! I'd say it's not thinly veiled at all. It's explicitly political and the characters are motivated by world politics. That's a core theme of the entire film and extremely important.

Rumor Pixar's Coco coming to the Mexico Pavilion

Their treatment of Zootopia still baffles me. Award-winning billion-dollar film, and you will not find one piece of merchandise in any American Disney park. Not one T-shirt, doll, toy, or mug. The characters don't do any meet-and-greets, just wave in a single parade. Zero plans for any...

    BLACK PANTHER huge hit!

It's rather difficult to do so without spoiling the film. In essence, it's not a movie about a muscle-bound superhero vs. an evil creature. It's about the culture these people have lived in for centuries, about their relationship with the rest of the world, their technology, and the way...

    BLACK PANTHER huge hit!

I'm guessing you haven't seen the film this thread is about, have you? If you had, you wouldn't say it's "mindless" or "just the same". The big reason it's doing so well with audiences and critics is that it's not more of the same.

    BLACK PANTHER huge hit!

Before seeing the film (and not knowing the comics/character very well), I wouldn't have expected to envision Black Panther being a better fit for Epcot than any of their other existing IPs, but a Wakanda Labs attraction could be amazing.

    BLACK PANTHER huge hit!

Yes, of course. Some people in this thread seem to believe that just because they can't use the character on the east coast, it means that they don't have the rights to use it whatsoever, or that they lost the rights to Universal, or some such thing. Clearly they can, at least, use it for...
