News 2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays

Programmed the same. I’m not sad it’s not coming back. I could maybe understand it being one of the songs if you weren’t still limited in number of rides, but you are so I’m good. It’s too new for a mediocre overlay. I bet far more than half the people riding it are riding for their first...

They looked fine the times I saw them, I don't think that's the issue.

News 'Beyond Big Thunder Mountain' Blue Sky concept revealed for Magic Kingdom

So Universal didn't cut a ride from the new HP land at Epic? hmmm. Sometimes perception is dependent on which pair of glasses you pick up. Keep in mind - I'm not saying Disney doesn't build slow, they do, agonizingly slow. They would obviously help themselves a lot of they knew how to keep...

News 'Beyond Big Thunder Mountain' Blue Sky concept revealed for Magic Kingdom

Epic was officially announced Aug 1, 2019 (and rumored/discussed before that) - it is scheduled to open in 2025. People act like it's on a 2 year turn around, it's not. Does Universal build faster than Disney, yes. "I didn't hear about..." and "feels like..." are your perceptions of the...

    News Destination D23 2023

They “could”, but why would they? They have a plot of land for a restaurant already in Galaxy’s Edge w no need to transport.

News Zootopia and Moana Blue Sky concepts for Disney's Animal Kingdom

Load 1 at a time or 100 at a time has no impact on capacity.

News Zootopia and Moana Blue Sky concepts for Disney's Animal Kingdom

Yes, capacity AND popularity. It's also not only about capacity as Buzz, Pooh, Mad Tea Party, Barnstormer and Indy Speedway all with similar or lower capacity don't get the same wait times.

News New Gondola Transportation - Disney Skyliner -

I am a grown middle aged man and have: Ridden the gondolas round trip - just for fun. Have requested a clear gondola. I can treat them how I choose. Are you also the guy on an airplane that takes the window seat and then sleeps leaning up against the closed blind?

News Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

Logic is the link. Why would you change a ride to eliminate the theming on one coast while keeping it on the other? Before some references ToT, changing ToT wasn't to eliminate Twilight Zone (as some incorrectly suspected on that as well), it was to tie into Avengers campus.

Refresh my memory, where is the material being pushed to us from Disney’s marketing team regarding hatbox ghost?

DHS Tower of Terror closing for rehab/ electrical work

Good question, I had a friend there last week of July and when they rode only one side was operating. I don't know if that was temporary or not.

News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

I'm going to slightly re-order (just personal preference) 3,6,2,4,5,1 3 - it's embarrassing 6 - it's a waste of space 2 - would be a nice add to balance some attraction location and kid focused 4 - more of a "want" 5 - similar to 6 but whereas I think 6 is really needed now with a prime...

I feel like a lot of what you say is over the top banter, but agree with the above basics.

News Reedy Creek Improvement District and the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District

But we don't know if the $17B includes maintenance capex correct? With the 13,000 job figure you'd think it would have a pretty high portion devoted to capital improvements. But I'll also concede it's pretty easy to play with employment numbers too, 13,000 permanent employees vs 13,000...

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

Maybe they don't have issues at all and they let it ebb and flow as their data warrants for maximum return. IE: dynamic pricing

News Reedy Creek Improvement District and the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District

It’s not as if the people dealing with legal matters would deal with the guest experience. Also, this could drag for years and years and the “cost” wouldn’t equate to popcorn buckets sold over any period of time.

News Walt Disney World to resume sales of Annual Passes (New sales resume April 20, 2023)

Did they use the word "anticipated"? honest question. Quite different than "are limited and may be suspended at any time". If they didn't say the latter then how outraged would people be when they are suspended if not warned in advance.
