Less loud, noisy Value Resort please ?

Ever since a horrible experience with a noisy connecting room at Universal's Cabana Bay, at all hotels we now specifically ask for a room that doesn't connect to another room for just this reason. -Rob

Another Magic Band Question and Insights as to EPCOT Resort Area

And once the battery dies, all tap-to-use functions will work indefinitely. (Room key, park ticket, Lightning Lane, room charge, etc) We still use some of our 1st gen Bands that are like 8-10 years old. -Rob

Anyone have experience with MCO Reserve?

A friend used it last year. My partner and I have Pre check, my friend did not. He only waited a few minutes longer than we did. -Rob

    HHN 2024

I've heard about the stooge scare actor. With the storyline they set up for the house I was surprised it wasn't something they brought back for Chupacabra the other year. (A village luring tourists in specifically to kidnap and sacrifice them) That big plaza in the middle just seems like it was...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens May 22 2025

Doesn't look like you got an answer. These are forced-perspective elements to extend the perceived size of the land, much like the Eiffel Tower originally did in the France pavilion. You can see them in this artwork. And since they're set back a little from the foreground buildings, they'll...

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

I'll agree with you, but only as far as the *original* Dinoland U.S.A. Boneyard, Restaurantosaurus, CTX and Chester & Hester's (just the gift shop). It was all cleverly designed as a singular backstory that worked. Adding Dino-rama spoiled what was an amazing land. The fossil prep lab was...

My Disney Experience system status and outages watch

I've read it's not limited to Disney. Other companies are having issues processing credit card payments, especially online/apps. -Rob

Ticket Modification Prices if original ticket was bought at a Discount

In general, the key to upgrading WDW tickets bought at a discount is to use the ticket to enter a park first, and then upgrade it. Doing that "locks in" the current gate price for that ticket. My one caveat is that I haven't upgraded a ticket since 2018 or 2019, so there's a slight chance...

    Wicked Experience Coming To USF.

Redoing Toon Lagoon into Wicked would be quite the ironic twist. 😉 -Rob

Care Care Center and Mears bus questions

No need to deal with the shuttle to the CCC. The Alamo/National rental desk has reopened at the Dolphin, so you can just walk over. -Rob

News TRON Lightcycle Run Standby Line and Lighting Lane status

Though the queue could be self-regulating that somewhat, right? If it gets too long and it's raining, doesn't it eventually extend out beyond the canopy? People might choose not to get in a line they might still get wet in. -Rob

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Yeah, in all my digging through coasters on RCDB Cobra's Curse is the largest coaster train that uses an elevator lift I could find. Everything else is a single wild mouse style car, a single water coaster car, or even smaller like the previously mentioned Scooby Doo kiddie coaster. -Rob

    HHN 2024

I opened up the app late last night (Thursday) around 12:30 and was surprised to find 9/10 houses at 20 minutes or less. Six houses at 5 or 10 minutes. (AQP was at 35) I know wait times drop in the final 90 minutes, but I don't recall ever seeing that dramatically low numbers across the board...

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

It will be Vekoma's family inverted coaster, like Dragonflier at Dollywood, but with an elevator lift that I don't think exists yet for a full-size coaster. It's a surprisingly fun ride. -Rob

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Exactly what I was thinking. I was pleasantly surprised by how fun Dragonflier was when I rode it last year. Would they do 4 separate load platforms? Or only 2? My thinking was what if it was two load platforms, fed from the center, and each platform could service two train load positions...

News “Zootopia” is being created for the Tree of Life theater

Disney Parks FB Post specifically says "Next Winter" not "This Winter" so 16 months from now. Bug may last through Spring Break, but I wouldn't expect much more -Rob

    Child on Rip Ride Rockit

Don't hate Universal, far from it actually. I just think adding a totally unthemed coaster in the middle of a theme park just to add a thrill ride is Six Flags level, not world-class-theme-park level. -Rob
