Another Magic Band Question and Insights as to EPCOT Resort Area

OK, I have just returned from WDW and I received a "bounce-back " offer I couldn't refuse. MY DS and I are now planning a return trip in the spring and will be staying in the EPCOT area this time. We have always stayed in the Magic Kingdom area and want to try something new.

We have our Magic bands from our recent trip.
Questions:

Are they reusable or do we need to purchase new bands?

If they are reusable how are they reprogrammed?

Any insights on staying in the EPCOT area

Thank You all in advance

Z.

Magic bands are linked to you, not a particular resort stay. No need to reprogram.
The Epcot area is great. Easy access to Epcot and DHS and generally a fun place to walk around. Which hotels were you thinking about?

Hope this helps, Google is the best, But the full capabilities of the bands including linking your photos to your My Disney Experience account usually are unable to be performed after the battery runs about at around the 2-3 year mark. Disney has recently launched the new MagicBand+ which is a game-changer in so many ways.

when is your return trip and what level of trip would you like to attend. the beach club is a wonderful hotel and it is a short wonderful walk to epcot and hollywood studios. however, they're doing construction on the pool next year from January to June I believe. one of the wonderful monorail places like the grand floridian would be nice too. I heard the grand floridian just rethemed to mary poppins for a a bit. how wonderful. i loved saving mr banks. the wilderness lodge is kind of close to epcot, and it is reminiscent of some of the parks out west. sorry one more....port orleans is close to epcot as well, and is a lot of fun with the big New Orleans theme with the Alligators and such! It may be fun for you and your family to take a fun relaxing carriage ride there also if you have the extra dough. Happy travels to Disney!

And once the battery dies, all tap-to-use functions will work indefinitely. (Room key, park ticket, Lightning Lane, room charge, etc)

We still use some of our 1st gen Bands that are like 8-10 years old.
