I'd like to show this photo of the cab of MKIV Monorail Red. That's Mk4!! As in, in service from 1971-1991ish. Look how clean it is, 44 years after it began service. This photo was taken yesterday.

Back in the Monorail shop there is still a section of track on the switchboard labeled "Mediterrenean" along with Contemporary, TTC, Grand Floridian and Polynesian. It's between the TTC and Contemporary. I always thought it was interesting.

Agree 100%. Generally the fast drivers (I liked to consider myself one, getting sub-9 minute cycles during exits when other fast drivers were in Express trains) are the ones most comfortable with the trains and have the best feel for them. They were usually more confident on the radio as well...
