    best buffet for dinner?

Chicken and fish should not be a problem, most buffets have a good dessert selection as well. Some buffets to consider are; Boma - in the Animal Kingdom Lodge 1900 Park Fare - Grand Floridian Crystal Palace - Magic Kingdom Biergarten - Epcot World Showcase

So why weren't there many strollers back in the day?

Then our parents would kill us and jump on our bodies while singing... It's been awhile so I don't remember it all but it's good to meet another python fan. I go to Canada a few times a year and when I do and see a mountie, no matter what uniform they are wearing, I start singing I'm a...

So why weren't there many strollers back in the day?

My 2 cents, many moons ago my DW and I spent our honey moon at WDW. Just about every server in every restaurant, many cast members and other guests told us the same thing. If you have children don't bring them until they are 6 or 7. We waited, other may not have. When we were preparing for our...

    Price Nostalgia

Nostalgia: In 1975 admission to Disneyland cost $8.00 with free parking. If I remember correctly there were 4 "E" tickets in the booklet and you could purchase more but I forget how much addition E tickets were. I was a 1st LT making about $800.00 a month. It is all relative.

    Pre-Trip It’s a trap?!

I did a family gathering trip about 10 years ago. Every family stayed at a different resort. The expression herding cats applies to that trip. My advice is suggest what to do each day, say this is what I am doing who wants to come along then go.

    Is there a smell....

The sulfur smell/taste of water in Florida always reminds of WDW. Chlorine always reminds me of a resort pool. The smell of popcorn popping, our local hardware story pops pop corn on the weekends, also the local Walmart has a Subway that pops corn. Each time I visit either I am reminded of The...

You can have any WDW meal/food item RIGHT NOW, no matter where you are. What is it?

I am reading this at 5:45 am and I want Macadamia pineapple pancakes with sausage and a press pot of coffee from the Kona Cafe.

    Beach resort vs. Yacht club

We stayed at the Yacht Club last fall. We enjoyed the resort very much. We have stayed at most of the deluxe resorts so I have something for comparison. The pool is great, the boardwalk is fun and if you are a foodie, the restaurants of the world showcase are close.

Convert a WDW Restaurant into a Characeter Meal

Here's an idea, let's put the characters back in the Liberty Tree Tavern. Our family loved it when they were there, after all these years we still miss them.

    I Found Katiebug 2.0

My DW and I did “Disney with child” for years. We are finally at a point in life where we can go by ourselves and move at our own pace. Should they ban older people too? Unless of course they are with grandchildren. If this post is real, it must be magic being married to her.

How to swap wives on select Disney rides?

Off subject but what the heck, Riding the monorail with DS age 8, a family with 3 girls gets on. The father complimented my son's manners when he gave his seat to to one of the girls. I returned the compliment and told him his daughters were lovely. He offered to swap 3 girls for 1 boy. The...

    Trying Foreign Foods?

I cannot say I have eaten anything that exotic at WDW. Some of the dishes at Sanaa, Jiko etc. were cooked with spices I have not had before. As to things American’s eat that the disgusted the world, I can tell you that in my 30 years in the Army I have eaten some unusual things. Reindeer...
