I have tried the waitlist about 3 times and have been 100% successful. I would, however, think that it would depend on when you are planning to go. I waitlisted for Sept. Sort of a quiet time.

I guess that depends on what office you go to. We got two from our local office by going in and asking for them. We explained that we are DVC members and have annual passes and we needed two. She just handed them right over with a nice smile. This office was in Hamden, CT

Laura, That door swings both ways. You and you alone are responsible for your moods, likes, and dislikes. You will never know how irritating you non smokers are to those of us who obey the rules and get bitched at for doing so. If you are holding someone else reponsible for your reactions...

The smokers paid good money too. You never know if the room you are a few balconies away from is a smoking room too. Complain, for sure, but chances are, with the exception of AKL, smoking outside on a balcony or patio is allowed.

Since smoke rises, I would thing the better advice would be: use an ashtray and be considerate of those below you. I totally dislike cig. butts anywhere but in an ashtray. I also dislike trash in my ashtray. :)

You are not the parent of these young kids, not your problem. MYOB. These kids have parents, let them handle it. For all you know, their parents have allowed them to do this. Surely, you have enough to occupy your time handling your own life. If not, get a job. :)

Tolerance and avoidance of things that offend would solve more.

Pretty safe, however, they have been all non smoking since the early to mid 1990's.
